Baby Shower

Lucy

The next day, I wake up with a bunch of surprises and shouts.

"SURPRISE!!"

I shriek and look around, pink and blue balloons all over the place.

"Oh my God!"

Only Erza, Levy, and Caña were here, throwing confetti in the air.

"It's your baby shower, Lucy!" Erza says.

"Yeah! Which means that gives me an excuse to drink!" Cana says, bringing out two champagne bottles from behind.

"You always drink, Cana! Anyways, c'mon! You have to get ready for your baby shower! Natsu will come any minute now. Mira is keeping him in her cabin." Levy says, helping me out the bed.

"Ugh, but my bed is so comfy. I don't want to leave it." I whined.

"Let's go! I'll help you take a bath." Levy says, and I smile.

"Yay! It's really difficult for me to take a bath now with this big belly in the way." I said, wrapping my arm around Levy's neck.

"Well, today is your lucky day, Lu-chan. Anyways, can you two keep an eye out on the two boxes downstairs? I don't want no one knocking them down."

"Boxes?" I ask, confused.

"Oh!! The boxes for trash when the party is over. Y'know we gotta clean everything up in the end." Erza says, smiling.

"But why wouldn't you want no one to knock the boxes down–"

"Okay, Lu-chan! Too many questions!"

"I barely asked two!"

"Let's get in the shower, Lu-chan. No more questions."

"Fine..."

After taking a bath, Levy gives me a long, loosed pink dress that was decorated with flowers in the chest area.

"Oh, this is so beautiful. Did you buy this!?" I ask, in awe as I look at the dress.

"Actually, Mira made that. She wanted you to know that you have made an impact in her life. But, that's all she wanted me to tell you because Mira wants to give you a speech in person during your baby shower today." Levy says, and I smile.

The first time I met Mira, she hated me. But afterwards, she started to warm up to me and we became the best of friends.

I'm glad.

"That's nice. I'll tell her thank you in person also." I said, getting ready to unwrap my towel.

"Ah! That won't be necessary, Lu-chan. I got you."

"What?"

Levy snaps her fingers and the dress was instantly put on me along with my undergarments.

"Oh, wow! Thanks, Levy!"

I look at myself in the mirror and noticed that my hair was already done. It was in a ponytail with braids holding back one side of my hair.

"Wow...I look beautiful."

"You always do, Lu-chan." Levy says, standing by my side.

She was already ready also. Levy was wearing an orange dress and I must say, she's rocking it.

"Y'know, you really rock orange." I said, and Levy giggles.
