The Spell

"This is the place, right?" I asked, parking.

"Yes. My grandma should be inside there. C'mon, we can't waste any time." Levy said, getting out of the car.

I grab the keys and put it inside Natsu's sweater pocket.

I get out the same time as Juvia but Juvia seems to give me a bad look.

"Juvia, is something wrong?" I asked, worried.

"Lucy didn't wanted to come with Juvia to Levy's place. She said that she was a long lost and that she's not worth it. Juvia got offended and left the club."

"What!? I would never say that!" I gasp, realizing who else could have done that.

"What?"

"Lisanna! She was the one that got into your head, Juvia! She's a vampire and she has the ability to transform into other people. She fooled you, Juvia. You know that I would never say awful things about Levy."

"You guys! Hurry up and come over here! It's still pouring!"

"Ah! Right!"

We run towards the door and the door opens, revealing Levy's grandma.

"Levy! Juvia! Lucy! Oh, please come inside!"

We all get inside the house and the ritual was already prepared. Candles were lit on fire around a star in the living room and grass was all over.

"Whoa."

"Listen, Levy. Another witch is using powerful magic and we have to fight! Do you understand?"

"Y-Yes, but–"

"Please, I'll use up all of my power. Okay? You're just gonna have to share some with me."

"And how do I do that?! I don't know any spells!"

Levy's grandma smiles and picks up a book from the shelf. It looked ancient and dusty.

"This is called the Book of Spells. You can look through it during your own time but now right now. Your mind will tell you what page it is on. I know that you can read ancient."

"I...I can!?"

"Hey, sorry to interrupt but there's a girl coming towards the window." I said, trying to get a better view at her.

It's Lisanna!

Following behind was Natsu, taking her down.

"Natsu!"

"They're coming! Levy! Let me handle this, alright?!"

"But grandma, I want to help!"

"You can help by lending me your power. If you see me struggling, that means that the other witch is fighting back. Do you comprehend?"

"Yes. I do. Please, be careful."

Levy's grandma goes at the center of the star and closes her eyes, putting her hands together.

There was screaming outside and I had this feeling of angst inside my stomach for Natsu.

Levy was looking in through the book, going to some page. Suddenly, Levy's grandma started to say words that are difficult to understand.
