I was sitting down on my desk, sealing up a letter for Mother. I usually do this when I have the time.

I feel bad that during the past few days, I didn't get to write Mom a letter.

"Who's that letter for?"

I flinched at the sudden voice and I turn around to see that green haired girl from before.

"What are you doing here? Who are you, exactly?"

"I'm Brandish. I'm a witch from Alvarez. Now, let's forget that and get to the important part." Brandish stands up and walks towards the bathroom door.

"What are you–"

"Come and take a bath with me. I'll discuss what Alvarez is planning."

"Why? What if it's some trap?"

"Take a bath with me or else I'll shrink this house in a second."

I stand up and slowly walk towards the bathroom she entered.

She turns on the faucet from the tub and let it flood. Brandish looks at me with an annoyed expression.

"Why haven't you stripped yet?"

"Eh!? I'm waiting for the water to overflow!"

"Tch."

With Brandish's magic, she instantly floods the water up to fill the tub.

I gasp slightly, surprised.

"Now strip!"

I flinch as Brandish starts to strip out her clothes. I glare at her and remove my top.

As I start to strip my skirt and undergarments, she gets inside the tub and sits.

After removing my clothes, I sit on the tub on the opposite side of her and stared at her as she relaxes.

"Feels nice to have a bath." Brandish said, smiling.

Steam starts to spread around the bathroom and it was getting hot.

"What are you doing here?"

"Ah, I nearly forgot."

"Tell me. Why did you and your friend attack me?"

"You were needed for Zeref. Zeref wanted you as hostage so he can kill whoever comes to save you. After all the "good" vampires and other supernatural beings are dead, he can rule the world with his army. I am surely a bit against his plan but I'll do anything to save my mother, Grammi."

"Save your mother? What are you talking about?"

"He's holding my mother hostage for me to do everything he says."

"What!? That's horrible! Why don't you do something about it!?"

"I did and it turned out into misfortune. The moment I attacked Zeref with pain magic, one of his witches, Wahl, stabbed my mother's leg while she was tied up on a chair. I stopped hurting Zeref and afterwards, a vampire named Marin bit me and I was held hostage for five days. They tortured me, humiliated me, and even let me see my mother getting beaten. I...I couldn't do nothing to save her." Brandish said, wiping a small tear.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Is she okay now?"

"She's inside a cell, only being fed with water and bread. But I visit her and bring her an actual meal. I don't want my mother to starve to death."
