After Trico finished eating his three barrels he swam away and spotted another hidden cave. Runako followed the beast who probably knew the way. How come the animal had noticed that there was giant hole in the wall next to the cascade and he had not even noticed it. "Well then I guess your smarter than I thought", Runako confessed as he saw the creature begin to crouch down, ready to get up. He flapped his small black-dark blue colored wings. Then took a massive leap as he kicked his foot back hitting Runako back into the water. Trico whipped around and quickly took the boy out of the water then placed him down in front of him. He pressed his muzzle against the boy's back in a way of apologizing. "It's okay Trico", Runako said reassuring even though pain was spread all over his back. He began to climb up the creature's back. He started to walk towards an area where there was another arch gap. Trico lowered his head letting the boy get off.
Runako crouched and began to walk down. Cold sunlight poured down onto his face. He was outside. He noticed that Trico was looking at him with just one eye able to look through. "Well then, this is goodbye. I must go to my back to my home in my village", he told the beast. He peered over his shoulder then turned back to Trico. "Farewell!". He looked back scanning the clearing. Dust began to fall onto Runako's head along with some stones. He looked up. No surprise it was Trico. He had pushed a hole in the wall and was following Runako. "NO! Stop following me!", he cried. Of course the only thing Trico did was disobey. He jumped down from his perch and was on the ground.
Runako brushed past the animal. He raced away in effort of escaping Trico. Not of fear or anything but he needed to get back to Nuruko. Trico's footfalls thundered closer as he hopped over the small boy. The beast was on the edge of the cliff. He looked up and was staring at a huge, tall, tower. Next to it was a strange mill that Runako had heard of but he had a different looking mill at his village. Trico stood on his hind legs and began to flap his wings, roar, and kick his front legs, hysterically. He must have wanted to get over there. Together they both escaped the dank confines of the cave and had emerged into a place where Runako had never seen ever in his whole entire life. He looked at the looming tower in awe. It was very beautiful. Trico began to leap into the air but he couldn't even fly for some reason.
"Oh. You can't fly? Are your wings broken?", Runako asked.
Runako would soon realize much later that he was at the heart of the creature's lair ''The Nest''.
"Well if I can't get rid of you I'll just help you because even if I try to leave you will still trail behind me", he forenamed to the beast. It seemed that he understood. Runako walked down a path that he had to hold on to the wall since it was just one foot thick for him to stand on. He saw farther up ahead chains were attached to the wall. He hung on and used all his upper-body to help him move away. The sunlight vanished because of the canyons that gave more shade. When Runko stood to rest he saw Trico begin to leap across some fallen towers. They must have been very sturdy because it was amazing that they didn't crumble under the weight of the beast. Finally after he finished the course he stood on a unsecure stone balcony. He wanted to head to where there was a jaw bridge. But he couldn't even open it. He then took out his mirror and aimed. Trico soon joined him on the platform then shot out the lighting out of his tail. The pillars that kept the building standing shook. Then one came toppling down on the balcony. "Come on Trico", he said as he began to climb up the pillar. Runako felt the ground slip away and felt his cloak being pulled. Trico was holding onto him. "I was trying to help! Let me go!".
The pillar that was leading to the jaw bridge fell down to another platform
"Hehe. Thanks Trico. Sorry for doubting you", Runako said scratching the back of his neck with embarrassment. Trico looked down at the pillar.
His face showed an way of saying "come on get down there. I'll follow!".
"Okay Trico lets go down there".
