Trico was sprawled on the ground. His head was low, like a dog that had just been scolded. Runako looked at the beast feeling sadness fall over him. Was Trico dead? Was he alive? That's when he saw the faint move of the beast's chest heave up and fall back down. Relief was all he could feel when he saw that Trico was alive. Now he turned back to his new mission. Getting off the branch. He kicked his legs around, and placed his hands around the scruff of the cloak and tried to pull off. What ever he did he couldn't get free. A noise from Trico got his attention. The creature was slowly getting up. Blood had been smeared around his feathers like clouds, and his feathers would easily float out of his messy coat. The bird looking hybrid was limping a little too, but that didn't stop him/ Runako felt proud, almost like a mother when they saw they're toddler just learn to walk. It was like that type of feeling. Trico sat on a tower with a lantern beneath it and looked at the boy. He had a look of worriedness on his face. He let out a faint whimper and stuck his claw out to reach to him. His reach was far too short though. Trico just wouldn't give up. He tried many other tactics, but like the others it still didn't workout well, even though he would get very close. Finally the bird leaped into the tree and slapped hi tail into Runako's face. He at first flinched not knowing what had happened then held on. Trico easily puled his tail away as the branch snapped away from the tree.

They slowly progressed back down to the solid floor. Once more Trico laid on the ground, refusing to stand back up. He needed food. Barrels. In which Runako would do to go find barrels, anything for Trico. It took him  a while before finding one. He showed it to Trico. The beast looked up with an eye flashing, the other one must have been injured somehow with the other Trico. He pushed it towards  his muzzle as he took it. After that Trico had stood back up, his plumage fluffed in triumph. Runako got back on at the beast took the lead. It took several jumps before making it to the peak of the roof. The gap where Trico had fallen was forever tattooed on that roof. But Trico wasn't done jumping. After he sat on a ledge he saw something very unpleasant to him. Eyes. Two of them, both being carried by his enemies; Samurais. As he glared at them he noticed the boy had crawled off of his tail and began to climb the buildings, again, to find a way to the eyes. Trico was so ready to take them on. He wanted to feel the cold satisfaction of hearing them die, lie motionless, and forever stay that way.

Runako leaped around the edges of the buildings, being careful not to die. He spotted a window. He jumped away from the ledge he was on and pulled himself up the copper ledges that looked like ladders. He entered the room greeted by the Samurais. They awoke once he had fallen to the floor. He raced around like a headless chicken and crashed into on. The cold metal armor slapped his face. His cheeks were red from the impact. The Samurai hugged him and began to take him away.
"Get off of me ya no good pain in the-".

He stopped himself before kicking out and falling out of the Samurai's grasp. He ran up the stairs on to hear the footfalls of a different Samurai behind him. He raced as fast as he could and saw the two Samurai's who were forcing Trico into a corner with they're shield looking eyes. He charged into the first on as it stumbled letting the eye fall into the ravine below. He then pushed the next one before feeling another Samurai catch him. A roar cut into the battle as Trico entered heroically and lunged in for the kills. He swiped his claws at the Samurai who had him. With a battle screech he held onto the Samurai and swung it around. Runako fell to the ground and ran away not wanting to get too involved in the fight. It was quickly fished by Trico as he stood triumphantly with blood running down his shoulder.

"Thank you Trico".
