Trico stopped playing around and looked back at the boy who looked a little impatient. Runako began to head to a ledge wanting Trico to follow in which that worked. He stood on the pillar letting out soft roars and looming over the boy. "Stay there Trico", the boy demanded. But as Trico was he was very rebellious. "It's mandatory Trico, in order to do what you want to do. Okay", he added sternly giving the beast a firm glare. The creature let out a soft murmur of disappointment. Runako looked at the creature's hanging tail. He gripped on and pulled himself up. Trico's river colored feather's gleamed like a silver fish's scales. His vibrant colors blinded him for some heartbeats before he noticed that he was already on the head of the creature. He scanned the premises but Trico had already leaped into a entrance. Debris was piled up and next to it was a small crack of sunlight pouring into the dark room. Runako climbed up and edged out of the crack. His foot slipped out of the plat form. The ground slipped beneath him as he collapsed onto the ground. The worst part was that he had landed on one foot so all the weight fell down onto that one leg. Pain seared over his lag as he let out groans and grunts.
"Argghhh!".What didn't help was when Trico got to the ground and that led to the ground to shake and that made the boy fall off balance. He landed on his bottom and glared at the beast. The creature just tilted his head to the side in confusion, like what did I do, sort of the way. Runako rolled his eyes. "Never mind come on let's go Trico", the boy whispered weakly as he began to limp. The beast knew something was wrong. He lunged down and held to his cloak as he took a large leap over to the next area he needed to go to. A smell contaminated the air. Not the last smell that Trico smelled but one smell that only he could smell. He dropped the boy into a pool of water.
Runako looked at Trico who was looking up. "You do know I could have walked down the stairs right? You could have also just dropped me on the ground not the water?", he said as he spat water out of his mouth. He stood up feeling his leg that seemed to heal quickly. "What are you looking at?", he asked as he added another question. Trico's nose was sniffing. Runako followed Trico's gaze and saw what he was looking at. Another Trico?! It had a more greenish pigment on it's feathers. It was a female. She leaped away with such grace that Runako wished that was the Trico that he could have befriended. Trico looked back and began to play in the water too. It was strange that, that female Trico was not using armor like Runako's Trico. She must have not been caught like him.
"Trico if you wanted to be smooth playing like that may not help", Runako advised the dirty beast.
Of course he ignored it.
