After the meeting I am immediately confronted by Mr. Marcus.

" hello Selena" he smiles
" I have been waiting for this moment for a long long time, k just had to wait until the papers were signed and approved but it's finally here!"

" I'm fired aren't I?"

" don't ruin my fun" he snaps.

He takes a deep breathe and smiles

" Selena, you are fired"

I try to hold back the tears as he's grinning from ear to ear.

" you can pack up your things right now and leave, forever"

" yes sir" I bite my lip walking away trying not to go off on him about what a child he is! Just because I'm dating your son you had to buy the hotel just to fire me! In hopes of ruining my life to that he might change his mind! You son of a-

" Selena?" Annie looks at me as I enter the locker room, my eyes filled with tears.

" oh my gosh what happened?" She asks.

" nothing, I just stubbed my toe really hard" I dry my tears.

" is that what really hap-"

" I got fired!" I yell.
" gray Marcus bought this hotel just to fire me! All because I'm dating his son" I cry out attracting a crowd.
I shove all the junk in my locker into my bag.

" no Selena I'm not going to let you do this!" She says putting my stuff back in my locker. " he can't do this!"

" he owns the hotel ann! He can do whatever he wants"

She stops and stares at me, trying to think of someway to keep me here, trying to find a way to stop this.
" you can't do anything about this" I say drying my tears.
" he wins" i finish packing my things and take a long look at everyone.

" bye" is all I can say without breaking down into tears again.
I walk out of the room and straight out of the hotel ignoring Christopher yelling my name.

" Selena! Selena wait!!" He runs after me. He grabs my hand " I saw you run out so fast what's wrong?"

" what's wrong? I got fired!" I tell walking out of the building.

" woah woah woah, for what?"

" ...... for falling in love with you!" I storm off.

He keeps calling my name but I won't stop.

" they can't do that, who fired you?"

" don't act like you don't know! You lied to me! You said your dad wasn't going to buy the hotel and that I wouldn't get fired and-"

" wait! My dad bought the hotel?"

" you really don't know this?"

He nods his head cluelessly.

" your dad bought the hotel and the first thing he did was fire me"

" I can't believe this! Why wouldn't he tell me"

" he probably would have if you guys were speaking to eachother"

" oh... ya, dot worry about your job it is just one of his lame attempts to break us apart and I will not let that happen" he takes my hands.

" neither will I" I look into his eyes.

I'm not letting this relationship go! But with no job how will I pay for anything! I have to pay rent in a few days and I'm. It going to have enough money!

I decide not to bother Chris with my problems and let him think that everything is ok when in reality my world just came crashing down.
