Hailey slowly walked in the center of the stage and the spotlight was in her

she kept a straight face she didn't smile nor frown either

everyone clapped their hands as her father continued to speak

Hailey could only sigh

she was told earlier that they were the host of the party that it was her welcoming party for being back home Hailey could only roll her eyes at the thought

she didnt want to go back home.

"my wife and i had come into the decision of having our daughter Ji-hoon start her training into becoming the heiress of the Ghim Corporation," her father says making Hailey look at him with wide eyes and people to whisper around

"we are aware of her being an idol of some sort" her father continued "and so we are in talks about her current situation but hopefully she shall start her training soon" he says "so here's a toast to our daughter Ji-hoon's future in the company" and he raises his champagne glass and soon everyone followed

Hailey couldn't believe her own ears

she looked at both her parents and both of them just smiled at her

Hailey was confused she needed to get off the stage right away before people see her in that situation

she shouldn't let the paparazzi take a picture of her i that state or else another issue will come out
but what's the point her parents already made a big one there was no point of hiding

luckily no one was able to notice her as she made her way to the building's garden

she assume that maybe all the staff was inside

there her tears started to fall

He held out his arms out for her

"Sehun.." Hailey hugged him tightly as tear began to fall again

"im sorry for being too late.." he says as he stroked her head helping her to somehow feel safe "this will be the last time," he says

Hailey's tears continued to pour

she felt safe

he was finally here with her

"i promise to stay by your side from now on"

with that Hailey lifted her head looking into his eyes

they looked into each other's eyes

"thank you," she says sincerely she then hit him softly "and i missed you" making both of them smile
