Hailey was having dinner with her parents

She never really wanted to have dinner with them but since she was living with them and they had her under control she had no choice

Usually the dinner would be quite and only the sounds of silver ware clicking against the plate would be heard

But it seems like tonight was different

"I read the news" her mother suddenly brings up "how inappropriate" she comments puts down her silverware and look at Hailey

Hailey could only keep on chewing

She didn't wanna look up and see her mother's reaction

She kind of knew that this would happen

"how can you act like this? Haven't you embarrassed us enough?!" she says "I assure you this will be the last time you embarrass us like this" after saying that her mother stood up and walked away

Hailey lets out a sigh of relief

"if I were you I would take your mother's threat seriously" her father says as he himself stood up and followed his wife

Leaving Hailey alone at the dinner table

It wasn't like this was the first time this happened

After her sister's death the almost always ate alone with only the presence of their butlers and maids

Hailey even daughts that her parents noticed she had gone missing before and only found out about it from the maids

Hailey simply finished her meal and excused herself

as she stood by the huge window that was looking over the city night lights

she had deep thoughts about what her mother threaten earlier and about what her father said

and he was right she should take her mother seriously knowing that her mother has a lot of connections and could sure do almost anything

that night Hailey couldn't even sleep a blink

these thoughts made her restless

she just had to keep her guard up

she couldn't just give this up

she took her phone that was in her night stand

and decided to call her unnies in which they answered right away

"hello maknae-shi~ is something wrong?" Ellie asked

"nope I just missed you guys all of a sudden" she replied

"than shall we have a video call?" and before Hailey could even answer her phone once again vibrated showing the notification of the other caller wanting to video chat

In which she answered and as soon as the loading screen has gone the faces of her unnies can be seen

They were trying their best to fit into the screen as they push each other just to see Hailey

This made Hailey smile a little

She missed them, she missed their goofyness

Even though she never really joined them that much but she was always there and she cared deeply for them

She didn't want to disappoint them

"Hi Hailey!" Cloud says "We miss you!" they say in unison

They ended up chatting all night

It was rare for them to have chats like this in person and so they cherished this moment
