"Hailey!"

Sehun ran to her unconscious body laying on the ground

"Yah! Wake up" he tries to wake her but she was pale and didn't response at all he hurriedly took out his phone and call his manager telling him where they were

after hanging up he again tried to wake Hailey up but was of no use

their managers then came running out of breath

"what happned?!" Hailey's manager asked as he made his way towards them

"I don't know! I found her unconscious here" Sehun replied in a panic tears were close to dropping

"let's bring her to the nearest hospital get a van ready! Lets make sure to get there safely" her manager says as he carries her in his back while Sehun's manager went to get a van ready

Sehun then followed them to the van and the hospital

Hailey was in laying in bed still not conscious

the doctor said that she had passed out due to exhaustion and stress

they said that she needed rest and that she should stay away from things that stress her out

after talking with the doctor Sehun stayed behind and watched over Hailey while their managers goes back to the company to explain to the CEO what happened

they already told the doctors to stay quite and keep it between then and the doctors respected that

there Sehun counldt help but feel guilty for ignoring her all this time it might be one of the factors that made her stress out more

he stayed there by her side holding her hand not taking his eyes off her

an hour passed and Sehun was in the same position holding Hailey's hand when he heard the door open

he thought it was their managers but he was wrong

Hailey's parents came in and Sehun then bowed to greet them only to receive a snob from Hailey's mother

"what are you doing here?" she asked not looking at him anger was visible in her voice making Sehun flinch a little

"I was the one who found her unconscious on the rooftop earlier" he replies

she the looks at him with a glare "then what are you still doing here?"

"I just wanted to keep an eye on her till she wakes up and make sure she was safe" he replied looking at his hand that was holding hers

Hailey's mother faked a laugh making Sehun look at her "you want to make sure she was safe?" she repeated what Sehun said "youre the very reason why she's like this" she continued

this made Sehun hold his breath "if it wasn't for you none of these would have had happen" she says and looks at her daughter "we wanted to avoid the public's attention to keep them safe she only brought this to herself" she says then looks at Sehun again "we wanted her to live a normal life not and not the life of people like you" says slowly making her way to Sehun "idols? Huh! a single scandal can ruin your images and people will start to hate you and make fun of you" she stopped in front of him and took her daughter's hand away from Sehun hold

"If you really care for her you would leave her alone" she says "we just want a peaceful and quiet life for our daughter away from all these paparazzi" she then turns her back from him and started walking towards her husband

"but I will protect her!" Sehun suddenly says "and stay by her side you don't even know your own daughter the way that I know her" he says

he wasn't willing to give her up just like that

Hailey's mom could only smirk "oh really youre going to protect her? Well you surely did a great job in doing so"

"what do you mean?"

"do you think that you being here with Hailey is 'helping' you just led the paparazzi here!" she says

Sehun couldt bring herself to believe her "what?"

"a famous star like yourself have people following you everywhere you go do you think that they wouldn't know that youre here?" she continued "its best that you leave now before things get out of hand and your crazy followers that you call fans comes here! It will only make my daughter's condition worse"

Sehun didn't want to believe her fans couldn't have followed him there no one knew he was there aside from their managers

suddenly ringing can be heard Sehun then took out his phone seeing that his manager has called him

he answered "oh hyung is there something wrong? Are you on your way here?" he asked

"Sehun you need to leave that hospital,speech less" his manager says on the other line

"what? Why would I leave?"

"some of your sasaeng fans followed us there and spread your location" Sehun's eyes widen "you need to leave right now before they get there and possible put you and Hailey in danger!"

speechless'was it really his fault?'

"we're already near the hospital you need to come down now make sure to wear a mask on your way" and the line went dead

Sehun could only look at Hailey's mother who had a smirk on her face and then looked at Hailey holding her hand tightly 'I will come back for you' he wanted to say

he didn't have a choice and excused himself and left the room putting on his mask as he made his way to the lobby seeing that his manager was already there gesturing him to hurry

once inside the van his manager sighs as the van went on its way "it's a good thing we got out on time if fans knew you were there for Hailey they would be furious and dangerous things could have happen

with this Sehun thought to himself 'its really my fault..'
