Everything has been complicated making Hailey so stressed out

She cant stop thinking about what the CEO and what her mother said

She couldn't bare to think that she might leave the company and have her mother win the fight

She wanted to fight for what she wants

She has distanced herself from people except her members

she wanted to spend time with them as much as possible

not wanting to waste any minute with them

tho she also needed time for herself to think which explains why she would disappear every after practice

she would be somewhere alone thinking to herself, looking for a reason or plan to stay

Hailey didn't tell Sehun about this cause she didn't want him to worry and she didn't want him to know

She didn't want to burden him or to anyone, she wanted to handle it all by herself

Days passed and the NCT's comeback date was getting nearier making Hailey worry even more knowing that the CEO might announce the supposedly 'break up' news thus ending her reason to stay with the company

after practice Hailey woud have gone to her usual spot to think again if it wasn't for her maneger telling her that the CEO wanted to meet her

Hailey was nervous for this could be a hand up of whats going to happened, this could be the day they were going to announce it

Hailey could only swallow hard as she saw Taeyong there as well

in there she thought that she had failed, failed to make up a plan on time, failed to find a reason to stay, and that her mother had finally won after the news will be announced she could only imagine how her mother will come barging in the office and saying stuff to make her leave the company

Hailey sat down next to Taeyong as she held her breath ready to hear what the CEO was going to say

"we've decided to let you continue to date" he says making Hailey look at him with widen eyes

"sorry but I think I heard you wrong" she says "could you please repeat that?"

"we've decided to let your relationship continue" he repeats

and with that Taeyong and Hailey looked at each other

"but why?" Taeyong asked "I thought you wanted it to end so that the news will be on the headline? For publicity?" he was confused as well with the CEOs sudden change of plan

"well.. your performance received so much love from fans that if we break it off now netizens might be confused therefor bash both of you or the company" he explained "we've decided to just just go with the trend and take advantage of this opportunity since both of you has been labeled as the 'cutest couple' at the moment " he then made his way in front of his table and infront of both Hailey and Taeyong "this could help both of you and your groups gain more recognition"

Hailey counldnt help but feel relieved with what she heard

"we'll discuss the details on another day I have a meeting I have to attend to" the CEO says as he looked at his watch "well... I called you here to say that you may go back to your trainings" he dismissed both

Once outside Hailey couldn't help but hug Taeyong out of nowhere confusing the other

"im so happy right now" she says hugging the other thightly 'maybe things just might work out after all' she thought

Taeyong was confused but hugged her back anyway

they stayed like that for a while before pulling away from each other

Hailey cant seemed to hide her smile as she waved goodbye to Taeyong made her way back to the practice room
