Taeyong sat there in silence

beside him was Mr. and Mrs. Ghim along with Hailey 

he didnt know why he was called 

he was simply shocked to see them when he entered the CEOs office 

"we want our daughter out of that group and out of this company," Mrs. Ghim says which shocked Taeyong "we know all about this deal you made with my daughter and this is against her will!" she then looks at Taeyong "making my daughter date this," she looked at him from head to toe "this guy! who has bad records in the past you know how this could affect my daughter's record as well?!" 

this made Taeyong uncomfortable 

he knew he had bad records in the past but he changed and for the better 

he looked at Hailey only to see her with her head down 

in the end, he decided to do the same 

"we cant just pull your daughter out of the group Mrs. Ghim we had a contract" the CEO explained and it was clear in his voice that he had some kind of fear knowing that the Ghim family is way more powerful 

"then we will destroy both your images!" Mrs. Ghim says making both Taeyong and the CEO look at her 

"what do you mean?" the CEO asks 

"we have enough evidence to destroy your company's image and the most affected one would be this young fella over here," she say as she looks at Taeyong making his eyes widen 

'this cant be happening' he thought 

all his hard work all the member's hard work 'this cant be true' 

he started to panic and so was the CEO 

he was about to say something before 

"no..." Hailey says which made everyone look at her "i wasn't forced into the relationship, though.." she says as she looked up "it was all for show at first but we started to develop feelings for each other" 

Taeyong didn't understand 'what is she doing' 

"the company didn't force me to do anything" she continued "and i signed a contract won't it be bad for my image if i didn't follow through? it would be all over the news that you forced me to quit the group" she says to her parents 

"what to you mean?" her father asked 

"there is no other reason for me to leave the group if it wasn't you that forced me, our fans know how hard I worked to debut and if i suddenly drop out they would instantly assume that you forced me to quit since all this drama started when it was revealed that im your daughter" she says

she was right 

"then we could ruin the image of this company then!" Mrs. Ghim says "and then you'll be forced to leave!" 

"im not the only heiress in this company and many other powerful families are protecting this company and you'll end up ruining our family name instead.." Hailey says calmly 

this made Mrs. Ghim frustrated as she stood up to leave with Mr. Ghim following behind "this is not the end we come back and make sure to get our daughter out of this company" she says before turning to her heels 

Hailey sighed bowing at the CEO "im sorry for my parent's behavior" she says and she looks at Taeyong giving him a faint smile "ill take care of everything don't worry" 

and then she followed behind her parents leaving Taeyong and the CEO was still taken aback with what just happened 

when Taeyong got back to his senses that's when he realized that Hailey seemed to have a bruise on the side of her face 

he hurriedly followed behind them but was too late 

they already left 

he then felt a hand on his shoulder 

he looked to see who owned it only to see a serious looking Chanyeol
