the sounds of heels clicking on the floor can be heard followed by heavy ones

Mr. and Mrs. Ghim was in SM Entertainment along with their lawyer

they had forced Hailey's manager to bring them to the CEO

he didn't have a choice and so he was there leading them to the office of the CEO

the CEO was surprised when he saw them enter and quickly stood to greet them

"Mr. and Mrs. Ghim in what way do I own the pleasure of your visit" he tries to act calm but it was visible that he was nervous

Mrs. Ghim found him ridiculous and rolled her eyes as she went direct to the point "we want our Daughter Ghim Ji-hoon's contract with this company be terminated" the CEO was shocked with what she said and didn't have the time to process any of it as Mrs. Ghim handed him a document file "we hope that you will be considerate with our request" she then gave him a smile making him confused as he looked at the document file that she had handed to him

he slowly opened the file and was shocked with its contents

"these are all the violations and scandals that this company has" the CEO hears Mrs. Ghim says as he kept on turning the pages of the file "im quite surprised that none of those has come out yet but I guess you have your connections like ours"

the CEO cant believe his own eyes as he turned from a page to another 'how did they get any of this?' he thought nervously 'if any of this comes out the company will sure face a lot of trouble with the government and netizens' he started having cold sweats

he then looks back at Mrs. Ghim who had an evil smirk on her face

"so what do you say?" she asks again

the CEO cant just drop Hailey it was against the contract she had with them and at the same time she was a talent he cant just let go

"but Hailey had signed the contract and tat doesn't end for at lease a few more years" he replies nervously

"well it would be a shame if those were to get to the public " she says referring to the file

the CEO could only swallow hard as Mr. Ghim he signals his assistant and receives a phone from him

"we happen to have one of our trusted personnel on a café meeting up with one of the most famous media outlet" she says "and he happens to also have a copy of that file! Once my husband orders him to give the file there will be no turning back" she says with evil smirk on her face

the CEO cant seem to steady his eyes it was really tricky and hard he cant seem to look at anything in particular rather his eyes kept scanning anywhere

"we'll make this simple and fast" Mrs. Ghim suddenly speaks up "since youre having trouble deciding we'll help you" the CEO then looks at her nervously "I'll count down and and if by then you still haven't made up your mind the document will be in the hands of that reporter"

'i cant just let go of Hailey'

'but the company will be put to danger'

'the trainees and idols too'

he could only look at them and lets out a sigh of defeat "okay I've decided to terminate the contract"

Mrs. Ghim then smiles at him "good choice" she says as the CEO gets another file from one of his cabinets

he then handed Hailey's contract to the lawyer with his head low 'defeated'

"okay tell Sebastian to give the file" Mrs. Ghim says to her husband making the CEO widen his eyes

"we made a deal! You can give them the file!" the CEO says in panic

Mr. and Mrs. Ghim stood up from their seat and made their way to the exit of the office "we just saved you the work of revealing the news" she says before bidding farewell to the CEO leaving him nervous about what she meant

on their way out they happen to pass by Sehun

Sehun was shocked to see them there

he looked at Mrs. Ghim but she only smirked at him as she passed by him

and Sehun knew that the smirk meant something especially from them who just came from the CEOs office

he then ran and went inside the of the office to see the CEO loosening his necktie while getting a drink from his pantry

"what happened?!" he asked

"im afraid Hailey will no longer return here" he replies

"what do you mean?!" Sehun coundlt believe what he heard

and then it hit him 'so that was Mrs. Ghim had that smirk on her face'

"its for the best" the CEO continued

"I heard that you have some inside news for me" says the reporter

Sebastian then hands him a file the reporter looked at him weirdly before accepting the file

as she accepted the file Sebastian then bowed and excused himself to leave

the reporter was still confused but opened the file only have her eyes widen as she took out her phone and also making her way out of the café

"I think I have the next big issue im on my way there" she says through the phone
