"so we've been thinking" the CEO starts "it's time for this relationship of yours to come to an end"

Hailey could only hold her breath as he said it

"what do you mean?" Taeyong asked

" the board has decided that its time for NCT127 to have a comeback" he explains "this time with 2 more members Johnny and Doyoung"

"so thats it huh?" Hailey say almost not audible to hear

"the news of your breakup would be in the headlines which also makes good publicity for NCT and Taeyong" the CEO explains "just think of it as a win-win situation where the two of you help each other's career"

both Hailey and Taeyong were silent

"so when is this going to happen?" Hailey asked

"maybe after a month or two," the CEO says "after your performance, Taeyong along with the other members will start filming and shoot for the teasers"

Hailey was silent as they walked out of the CEOs office

"Hailey" Taeyong calls out making her stop in her tracks "why do you seem down? i thought you wanted this pretend relationship to end?"

"i know but its complicated" she replied as she brushed his hand off and started walking away

Taeyong was left confused

Hailey skipped rehearsal and made her way to a small cafe nearby

though phone kept on ringing she choose to ignore it

she wanted time to think about the whole situation

once the 'pretend relationship' would end it would only give her mother a reason to leave the company

and she didnt want that

she had to think of another way for her to stay

and she had about a month or so to make up a plan

the cafe was quite and it there wasn't many people there either

it was peaceful and was filled with all sorts of green plants

and as if on cue a couple of high school students came by and sat at the table behind Hailey's

"i heard from someone that SM will hold a special stage for Music Bank's Valentine's special!" a girl say as they took out their books

"really?! wahh I hope Hailey and Taeyong will be there!" another says

"no i want Hailey and Sehun to pair up!" says the other making Hailey chuckle a bit "why are you looking at me like that?" the girl asked her peers

"why would you want them to pair up when Hailey and Taeyong are dating? you muust be crazy" her friend replied

"well i think its all a set up!" the girl defended "i believe those past rumors are true i mean im convinced that the two are inlove and SM are just tearing them apart!"

this made her friends laugh "okay okay now can we study? i have to finnish this essay before going to afterschool class"

after that the girls finally began their study session

Hailey then stood up and the student seemed to have noticed

Hailey brought a finger to her lips gesturing the girl to keep it a secret as she winked

she didnt want people to know she was there

the student could only blush and nodded in response

Hailey then makes her out of the cafe

'funny how she almost got everything right' Hailey thought
