twenty-one

Hailey was silent throughout the trip back to the hotel 

she rode a separate car from her parents 

but she knew that once they were back in the hotel they would either lock her up or give her another long lecture 

the thought made her dizzy making her rub her head 

and just like what she predicted her parents gave her a long lecture 

"what do you mean by you started to develop feelings for that kid?!" her mom raised her voice "you cant date someone like him!" 

"too bad im already dating him" Hailey replies sarcastically 

"dont you use that tone on me" her mother continued 

Hailey could only stare at her mother she wasnt feeling well since the drive back to the hotel 

she wasnt in the mood to fight 

and so she stood up and started to make her way to the door back to her suite 

"where do you think you're going?!" her mother called out 

"im not in the mood to fight right now im tired," she replied as she continued to walk to the door 

"dont you dare leave while in the middle of this conversation we're not done yet!" 

Hailey felt a strong tug on her arm making her stumble a little 

and at that moment the dizziness in her head worsen and everything went black 

the next thing she knew she was inside a large hospital room with a dextrose attached to her

she lets out a sigh as she looked out the window to see the clear blue sky 

not long before she heard the door open 

"Hailey..." he called out

she turned around to see the owner of the voice 

"Taeyong..." she replied "what are you doing here?" 

"i wanted to check on you.." Hailey nodded at what he said and went back to looking out the window 

"how are you taeyong? i heard that th---" 

"why did you do it?" he asked before she could finish her sentence "why did you lie?"

Hailey faced him again "i wanted to save our careers of course" she replied as if it as the most obvious thing in the world 

"but whats the point? they will find out sooner or later anyway" 

"no they wont if you do as i say" she replied 

"what do i have to do then?" 

 "you have to date me" 

Taeyong looked confused 

"we have to act like a real couple with and without cameras" Hailey continued "we have to make my parents believe that we're really dating so that they wont use this get up of ours against us" she explained "we have to be careful they have eyes everywhere luckily not in this room" 

Taeyong hasitated at first

"dont worry we will have to break up eventually but not now when all eyes are on us" 

they continued to plan what they had to do to convince Hailey's parents that they were really in a relationship 

"Hailey?" Taeyong called out "what about Sehun?" he asked 

and with that Hailey's eyes wide but she instantly reverted back to her normal expression "what about him?" she asked back 

"i know everything about you two" he replied "he told me everything" 

Hailey nodded "ill take care of it dont worry"

Taeyong understood right away

although he liked Hailey he wouldnt want to ruined what they had now

he saw both their sufferings being apart from each other 

and so he decided to ignore the pounding in his heart 

for her to be happy 

a knock was heard and Taeyong's manager came inside saying it was time to leave 

"rest well Hailey" he says and Hailey simply nodded in response 

when he was gone Hailey looked back at the now not so bright sky 

'what should i tell Sehun?'
