twenty-three

a knock was heard 

and Hailey knew right away that it was for her hourly check up that was specific orders fro her parents 

she didnt expect Sehun to actually come to her but luckily he did 

she just hoped that he would understand the current situation 

though it was really tempting to accept his offer to run away 

Hailey was more than willing to run away 

its just that it wasnt the right time and whats the point when all eyes are on them 

it would be useless her parents would still find her in the end anyway 

he looked at her with wide eyes as he heard the door open 

he was afraid to get caught of course 

and so she gave him an assuring smile as she carefully pull up his face mask

"Ms. Ghim its time for your hourly check up" the doctor stopped in her tracks as she saw Hailey with Sehun 

"just a close friend checking up on me" Hailey simply say and the doctor nodded and with that Sehun got the signal and pulled up his hoodie

Hailey then looked at Sehun "you need to go now"

Sehun only stared at her "i wont," he says 

"im sorry about this," Hailey says as she walked back to her bed next to the doctor picking something up from the bedside table 

and suddenly the guards came in "please accompany my visitor to the exit im getting my hourly check up at the moment" and with that the guards asked Sehun to come with them 

Hailey could only smile lightly at him and she could tell he was confused at what was going on as he followed the guards out 

'youll understand soon' she thought as she watched him walk away 'till then im afraid we have to part ways again Sehun...'

'just trust me on this'

"miss Ghim lets start our check up" the doctor says and Hailey nodded in response

Hailey was now back at the hotel 

and was currently packing her things for training 

she havent attended a single vocal and dance practices since the whole drama started 

"what are you doing?" she heard her mother "youre still not feeling well your not going anywhere!" 

"i have practice" Hailey simply reply "and i know my body and im feeling okay now besides i stayed in the hospital for a few days when i could have just stayed a day or two" she continued as she walk pass her mother 

"YOUR NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" her mother called out just before she could get pass the door

"watch me" she says and left her mom in the room as she made her way in the elevator 

as she reached the lobby the staff tried to stop her saying they were ordered by her mother 

suddenly heavy steps were heard as well as flashes 

 "if the media gets a shot of this it would be bad for the hotel's image" she simply says "besides i own this place i have the right to order you and i order you to ignore my mom's order" she whispered in the staffs ear before walking pass him 

her manager was waiting in the lobby 

they avoided the media and hurriedly enter the van that was waiting for her
