He stayed quiet with the same dumbfounded look on his face, for exactly four minutes. I decided to break the overbearing silence, I was beginning to regret telling him about the baby. "How are you going to tell me what I'm ready for?" He asked angrily.
"You're not even ready to marry me, how are you ready for a baby?".
"A baby and Marriage are two different things Eva!".
"I don't want to have a baby with you Jashaun," I finally admitted.
He didn't have a comeback. He actually looked really hurt by my honesty. The truth was out, I didn't want to have a baby with Jashaun.
"Since the first time I met you, I wanted to make you mine. I wanted to buy you everything. I met some guy and he told me about a quicker and better way to get money, instead of selling drugs. "I'll show you," I smiled as I grabbed his hand and led him upstairs to my room I stayed in while I lived with Ali.
Once we got into the room I continued placing soft kisses onto Jashaun's hand, he just stared down at me as his breathing increased in speed.
