Who's ready to cry? Wow that sounds terrible. That's not even the worst thing yet. There's more...

I was going to fit this into the last chapter, but I thought that the ending was fitting for the previous chapter. So, I decided to separate it into different chapters. Besides...there are so many things going on that it should be separated into different chapters.

Well, hope you guys enjoy this chapter and I'll see you in the next chapter.

Layla carefully placed Lucy's arm around her shoulder. Then, the both of them slowly got up, Lucy leaning her body against her mother's to support herself since she was still a little unstable.

"Do you think you're ready?" asked Layla as she carefully removed Lucy's arm from shoulders.

"Yeah," said Lucy as she slowly stretched out her muscles. She kind of hissed when she felt a slight pain in her shoulders. Lucy quickly brushed it off, saying that she was alright. Then she started to walk to where Ayame, Luna, and Happy were fighting. As soon as she took a single step though, she stumbled a little bit. Layla grabbed Lucy and helped her regain her balance.

"Mama, I'm fine. Don't worry," Lucy said as she stood on her own two feet once again.

Even though Lucy said this to her, Layla was still worried about her daughter. If only she was able to preform the sealing, she wouldn't put her daughter through this. Not in that condition. But alas, Ayame and Frost took the precautions of preventing her from performing any form of sealing powers. Layla sighed. This was the only way to defeat those two though.

Layla suddenly felt her daughter hug her.

"Lucy?"

"Thanks for worrying about me Mama, but please don't stress yourself. I'll be fine." Lucy tightened her embrace.

Layla wrapped her arms around Lucy and pulled her closer. "I'm sorry for giving you such a burden on your shoulders. Please be careful."

"I will..."

Lucy broke off their embrace and faced the battlefield again. Then she swiftly took out one of her golden celestial keys and held it out in front of her.

"Gate of the Lion, I open thee! Loke!"

Loke was about to joke about how there were two Lucys, but he stopped himself from saying that, knowing that he has to be serious or else their plan will fail. He held onto his right wrist with his left hand and clenched his fist.

Lucy took that as his signal for being ready to go into the battlefield. She nodded at him, signaling him to go assist Happy and Luna. Loke nodded and went ahead.

"I'm going now Mama." Lucy had her back facing Layla when she said that. The woman just watched as her daughter kept walking further away from her. She couldn't help but cry over this. Her daughter has grown up so much. Although she was sad about not being able to watch her grow, just seeing Lucy the way she is right now has made her the happiest mother.

"Max speed!" Happy said as he started glowing a light blue-ish, teal-ish color. He then used that speed to circle around Ayame, thus creating a cyclone, which can not only hurt the girl but also trap her inside.
