Hi hi! So here's another chapter as I mentioned before. Late again, but I type slow. I still write my drafts before typing...don't judge. I want the best for you guys. I'm really sorry that I keep breaking my promises to you guys. I hope you won't hate me for that. Anyways, way overdue with this whole Christmas thing, but who cares if I'm late. I promised I would finish it and that's something I'm going to keep for sure. You can count on it. In the meantime, thanks for reading this. Enjoy!

I dedicate this chapter to Pandattte.

"I just laid the star on the bed. She's sleeping at the moment," Wendy said as she closed the door to the infirmary.
"That's good to hear Wendy," said Mira.
Everyone was currently cleaning up the guild; fixing the hole on the ground and adjusting the decorations. People weren't as happy as before because of the shooting star incident. Currently waiting outside the infirmary were Master, Mira, and Team Natsu.
There was an awkward silence after Wendy told the group about Luna's condition. Then Master decided to speak.
"Lucy do you know anything about this situation?" Makarov asked as he paced back and forth.
Lucy was currently clutching the letter with both of her hands. Unable to say anything, she just shook her head.
"What are we going to do Master? For all we know, this could be a trap," said Erza.
"But what if it is Lucy's mom? We can't just abandon her," Gray argued.
"And what if it's not? I don't want my teammates to be hurt because of a misunderstanding," Erza retorted.
"Nee nee Natsu you haven't said anything yet," Happy pointed out.
Natsu was currently leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his chest; he was deep in thought.
"Natsu-san are you okay?" Wendy asked the dragon slayer.
Natsu probably didn't hear the sky dragon slayer because he didn't answer. He suddenly sighed and then pushed hisself off of the wall.
"Jii-chan I think we should go on that journey," Natsu said with a firm, but calm voice.
"Are you out of your mind?! You can't just go there without any precautions!" Erza shouted out.
"Yeah Flame Brain. I know that Lucy's mom may be there, but I kind of agree with Erza," said Gray.
"At least take us with you!" Wendy pleaded.
As Erza, Wendy, and Gray blasted Natsu with their words, the dragon slayer just walked ahead to where Lucy was sitting down. He placed his hand on Lucy's shoulder, making the girl tense up at first. She softly whispered his name and glanced at her partner.
"Oi Natsu are you even listening to us?!" Gray angrily yelled out.
"Oh I'm listening, but now it's your turn to listen to what I have to say." What Natsu just said not only surprised Gray, but everyone else as well.
"I know that it's strange to find a shooting star crash into our guild. It's also strange to find a letter that's probably written by Lucy's deceased mom; might I mention that it's specifically asking for us. This may be a trap as Erza has mentioned, but I'm willing to take a risk. She may be Lucy's mom and I'm not going to abandon someone who asked for our help. I will save her no matter what."
The group was taken back by Natsu's words. They couldn't help but smile at his determination.
"You know I can never get it through your thick head," Gray said as he smiled at his friend.
"I don't think any of us can Gray. He is Natsu after all," said Erza.
"Master what do you think?" asked Mira.
Makarov heavily sighed and then looked at Natsu. "Natsu...you, Lucy, and Happy have my permission. I want the three of you to meet me in my office tomorrow morning. Understand?"
"We'll be there," Natsu responded.
"You better be home before Christmas!" Erza ordered them.
"I really wish we could come, but have a safe journey!" Wendy said happily.
"Thanks guys. I promise we'll be back before Christmas, safe and sound."
After Natsu said that, he turned around and kneeled down to look at Lucy directly at her eyes, which were currently covered by her bangs.
"Lucy please look at me." With a slight hesitation, the celestial spirit mage looked at the fire dragon slayer. Tears welled up in her eyes.
Natsu gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry Lucy. You can count on me to save your mom. I promise."
"Aye Lucy. You can count on me as well!" Happy smiled at the girl.
"Natsu...Happy..." Lucy whispered. The tears that were welling up in her eyes just started to fall down her face. "Arigatou..."
"Looks like Team Natsu will be going on another adventure," said Happy.
"It'll just be like old times when it was just the three of us," Natsu said with a smile.
For the first time since the incident, Lucy has smiled...and it was because of her two precious people.
