Hello, I'm Patrick Dempsey, and I found out in 2000 that my mother has ovarian cancer, she's on stage four, and I'm trying to stay as positive as I can but it's not easy, it's hard. We're in season 1 of Grey's Anatomy, and I've already got a best friend, Ellen Pompeo! I honestly don't know where I'd be without her. She makes me feel whole, but what she doesn't know is that she gives me hope. It's now that I need her the most.
People say that cancer is aggressive, most people die from it but I'm hoping that my mother won't. .
This book is deticated to my grandmother who died of brain cancer in 2014.
