Catherine stood on the tarmac of the private airport. Danny had his hand on her shoulder and Kono and Chin stood close by. They all watched as the back of the huge cargo plane lowered. Catherine watched as four men carried a casket out, the casket containing the body of her true love. Her husband. Draped nicely over the coffin was the American flag. Steve didn't want a funeral so when the men put the coffin in the vehicle, they folded the flag into a triangle, then they handed it over to Catherine. The tears that had been threatening to fall, fell as soon as she took the flag into her arms. Danny, Kono and Chin watched in devastation as Catherine dropped to her knees sobbing, holding the flag to her heart. She lost her baby and her husband, and now she had lost herself.
