Six Years Later

"Pj, you can't hop around here it's disrespectful," Sugar says, pulling back on her daughters shirt.

"Why?" Pj whines, still feeling energetic.

"Because your daddy says it's rude to all of them," Sugar explains.

"But they like having friends," Pj says, "They feel happy when they have people around them."

Sugar sighs, "But this is their resting place, princess. You can talk to them, but you can't stomp all over them."

Pj nods, "Okay, mummy."

Sugar presses a kiss to the young girls forehead, "Now, come on. We're visiting your Uncle Pj today."

"He's a Pj too?" Pj asks, looking up at her mum through long blonde hair.

"Yes," Sugar says, "You were named after him."

"Awesome!" Pj says jumping up again, "Was he a cool Pj like me? Did he fight dragons and rule over kingdoms, and explore galaxies in a mighty ship with a ninja pirate crew?"

Sugar laughs squeezing her child's hand, "Well, he was the bravest man I ever knew."

"Rad," Pj said.

Sugar rolls her eyes, "You're four years old, but you sound just like your dad. Why did I marry Sage?"

Suddenly Pj stops walking.

"What's wrong, honey?" Sugar asks.

"Who's that?" Pj says, pointing out by a grave.

"I don't see anyone, Princess," Sugar says.

Then suddenly Pj squeals, "It's Mr. Spaghettios!"

Sugar smiles amusedly, "Aw, he came to visit your uncle Pj too?"

Pj had an imaginary friend named Mr. Spaghettios, and really everyone just went along with it. He's been around as long as everyone could remember. Sage could never see him, so they knew it wasn't just a random ghost they had in their house, and that was the biggest relief of them all.

Though it didn't take long to find out Pj could see the dead as well as her father.

Ever since Sage left Cynthia, he lost Ren. He could no longer see her, and his fear of the dark went away. But he could still see what no one else could. It was slow, but after he left, so did Sugar, and they got married.

"Mr. Spaghettios, what are you doing here?" Pj asked with her hands on her little hips.

Sugar smiled amusedly at her.

"This is where you're buried?" Pj asked.

Sugars eyebrows furrowed at the odd conversation. What did she mean?

"Tell mum what?" Pj asked.

No answer.

Pj giggled, "I didn't know you knew my mummy."

Silence.

"Pj, what's Mr. Spaghettios saying?" Sugar asked.

Pj smiled, "He said he loves you, and that he's sorry he never said that enough."

Sugars face goes pale, "What do you mean?"

Pj looks in the direction of where she'd been talking and shakes her head, "He just says he's proud of you. I didn't know Mr. Spaghettios was your brother, how come you never told me?"
