••Peeta's POV••
I sit down next to Finnck in our usual seats in homeroom. Annie comes in and sits next to Finnick and Cato and Glimmer sit on the other side of Annie. Clove, Johanna and Marvel sit on the other side of Glimmer. That leaves one seat left for Katniss next to me. Where is Katniss anyway? Before I could even consider an answer, none other than Delly Cartwright, the school's biggest slut, sits in that seat. Oh great, just what I need (please note the sarcasm),.
"Hello Peeta" Delly tries to say seductively, but its doesn't work. She can see it in my eyes so she tries something else. "I missed you this summer." She makes a pouty face while caressing my cheek.
"Delly, can you please stop this?" I try to ask politely.
"Not until you kiss me, bread boy." She says.
"Delly-" I start to say but she cuts me off.
"Hush baby. I love you." Delly says seductively but yet again, it doesn't work.
"Delly get off!" I yell into her face. Just as I say that Katniss walks in the door. She sees me, drops her books. and pulls Delly by the hair off of me.
"Delly! If I ever see you do that again, you don't want to even know what will happen! Stay away from Peeta or so help me I'll-"Katniss screams at Delly, but gets cutoff when Mr. Abernathy pulls her off of Delly.
"Now Katniss, was this necessary? He asks her.
"Yes, Mr. Aber- er Haymitch. She was trying to seduce Peeta!
"Well, Delly thats Detention now everybody-"
Just then The bell rings. I check my schedule. I have Science first. I see Katniss check hers. Science too. Great!
