Beep..

Beep..

Beep..

Aw shit. I know where I am. A hospital again. Just what I needed.

"Peeta, what the shit!" Finnick yells.

"What, Finn!?" Peeta yells back.

I keep my eyes closed so they don't know I'm awake. I want to hear this.

"You did this! You did this to her Peet! You did it!" Annie yells I've never heard her yell before. It sounds like she's crying.

"By telling her how I feel!?" Peeta spits back.

A chair gets pushed back. "Peeta we all know that's not remotely true!" Johanna tells at him very angrily.

"How do you know huh!?" Peeta yells.

I feel anger boiling inside me, This is the time when i choose to 'wake up'.
"Peeta, just shut the hell up and get out. I dont want You anywhere near me you foul evil little git!" I yell as loud as I can.

Every pair of eyes in the room turn to me, jaws dropped and blinking. I let out an angry sigh. "Well, what did you expect? That wasn't the plan! You're a foul person Peeta and I can't believe I ever loved you!"

Now that one hurt me. I know its not true but I have to say something to make him feel bad for what he knowingly did.

"Katniss, I-" Peeta starts, but I cut him off.

"Peeta, just get out." I drop my eyes and point to the door.

I don't dare look up. The door slams followed by thunderous foot steps down the hall. That's when I know he's gone. He's gone not just in the way that he left my hospital room, but also in the way that I can never have him in the way my heart deepest desires. My chest clenches at the thought. And that's when I break down and a rush of tears fall down my face.
