Capter 21: Funhouse

CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

••Katniss's POV••

The gang and I are at the summer fair. Since I don't like roller coasters, I went in the fun house while they went on the Riptide Thunder. As I walk into the first room, The door closes and locks behind me. A picture of Delly and Peeta making out is plastered on the door. I scream and run down the hall to the next room. There are two doors, evil laughter is coming from the one on the right and chainsaw sounds are coming from the one on the left. I open the door to the right. Evil laughter is better than Chainsaws. I look around and everything is dark. Then Delly's face pops out all around me, laughing that horrid evil laughter of hers. I scream again and run by the wall feeling for the door. When I find the knob, I turn it but it's locked. Delly's laughter is still ringing around the darkroom. I feel around the wall for another door. This time when I turn it, it opens. I scramble through and come face to face with a room full of mirrors and in everyone of them are Peeta and Delly making out. This time I scream and cry. I whip around to face the REAL Peeta and Delly. Peeta pulls away for one second and speaks to me. Looking me straight in the eyes, "Katniss, I don't love you and you were stupid enough to think I did."

"Katniss!" I hear a familiar voice scream.

I open my eyes with a start. I am looking up into the beautiful eyes of my sister Prim. With a tear running down her face, she says "I thought I wouldnt be able to wake you. You were screaming and I didnt know what you do. And mom never gives a crap about us anymore."

"I'm sorry Prim, I really am. I had a nightmare. I'm sorry I woke you up." I reply pulling her into a hug.

"It's Alright",she replies,"I know this is hard for you right now. I saw the games, and I heard about the fight with you and Peeta from Rory, Gale told him. Gale really likes you, you know."

"He's not my type, Prim." I say with a little chuckle.
