Chapter Seven: He loves Me!

••Katniss's POV••

Oh my God! Peeta Mellark just admitted that he is in love with me! My mind is racing thoughts. Should I tell him I love him too? Instead I say the stupidest thing that I've said in my life.

"Why?" I ask

"Katniss, you're beautiful and you have a wonderful personality." Peeta responds.

"Peeta, I'm not beautiful and-" Peeta stops me with a kiss. An electric shock goes through my body and before I know it I'm kissing him back. The kiss quickly turns french as our tongues wrestle each other and our hands explore each other's body. I suddenly have a hankering for more but I quickly remind my self that we're on school grounds. Holy crap School! I totally forgot. I pull away from Peeta reluctantly "Peeta, we should get back."

"Yeah. They're probably wondering where we are." Peeta gets up and brushes off the dirt from his pants.

I do the same. As we walk back to the school I lace my fingers into Peeta's and he doesn't pull his hand away. "Peeta?" I ask.

"Yup" He answers and I see his ocean blue eyes staring into mine.

"Would it be all right if I start to consider you as my boyfriend?" I ask.

"Definately." Peeta responds, as we walk through the doors into the school.
