*2001*

Stevie Nicks had finished up her Trouble In Shangri La tour and was now wrapped in her husband's arms in their bed on a Saturday morning the day after she returned home.

They had just made love for what felt like the one hundredth time since she had been home.
Her head rested on her husband's chest as she drew tiny circles with her fingers on his chest; he had his eyes closed with a smile on his face. He had missed her and was happy she was finally home.

"Linds?" Stevie said quietly.
Lindsey opened his eyes and smiled down at her. "Yes, my love?"
"I'm a little nervous to go back into the studio with you." Stevie said nervously.
"If I'm honest...so am I." Lindsey responded with a chuckle.

Ever since they had gotten married, Stevie and Lindsey had agreed to always be truthful about anything and also about their feelings.

However, whenever Fleetwood Mac would go into the studio to record a new album, that's when they would disagree and argue.

They were now heading back into the studio to record their new album with Fleetwood Mac.
Stevie was hesitant to agree to go back into the studio. She was afraid that their marriage would crumble if they were to go back to record this new album.
Lindsey assured her that no matter what, that this album wouldn't get in the way of their marriage and the love they had for each other.
Also, this would be the first album that Christine Mcvie would not be a part of; Stevie missed her already.

"I love you Steph." Lindsey said. "Now, I can't promise that things will always go smoothly but that is the norm for us. It has been for years since we got married." He chuckled. "We go in to the studio, everything starts out great then well...we argue about something or another that has to do with our music. But in the end we still manage to survive with our marriage in tacked."
"You're right." Stevie chuckled. "I should be used to it by now. I mean...we survived Rumours. We can survive anything."

In 1976-1977, Rumours was the album that almost broke up Stevie and Lindsey for good. They did break up and took a break from their romantic relationship.

After the Rumours tour, Lindsey took stepped up and let all his feelings out. He told Stevie that he still loved her and he wanted to give their relationship another try. He even begged for another chance; Stevie looked into his eyes and knew how sincere he was being, she said that they will try.

And now, it's 2001 and Stevie and Lindsey held each other for a while longer in comfortable silence.

Stevie's mind began to wander; she was thinking about the next day when it would mark another year of the most painful memory that left a huge hole in Stevie's heart.

Tears formed in her eyes but before they could fall, a knock came from their bedroom door.
"Hold on." Stevie called out as she wiped her unshed tears.

Lindsey and Stevie jumped out of bed and put their sleeping clothes back on.
Lindsey walked over to unlock the door and opened it as Stevie climbed back into bed.

"Good morning Mommy!" Cried out their three year old daughter; she ran to Stevie and picked up her arms so Stevie could lift her onto the bed.
"Good morning to you too princess." Lindsey said as he was completely ignored by his daughter.
"Sorry daddy. Good morning." The little girl said to Lindsey then turned back to Stevie and cuddled by her side. "I missed you mommy!"
"I missed you too my little love bug!" Stevie said as she held her daughter close.
Lindsey joined his girls on the bed and listened to their daughter tell her mother everything that she had been up to since Stevie went on tour.
