The next night, Stevie and Destiny were having a girls night while Lindsey and Aiden had their own father and son night. Mathew was in Destiny's room catching up on some work. Now that Madison had been fired, he was finally able to concentrate on his work.

Destiny and Stevie had a night planned filled with movies, popcorn, ice cream and also, painting each other's nails. Of course Robin wanted to join her big sister and mother.

After their nails were dried, which were painted a bright red color, they watched their first movie.

Robin laid between Destiny and Stevie; they all shared a bowl of popcorn, and each had their own drinks. When the movie was over, they all sat up again and Stevie and Destiny were talking about the nursery.

"Maybe you can over to my house after the room is painted. Mathew and I are going over tomorrow to do that. Oh mom! I can't believe this is happening!" Destiny said as happiness radiated off of her.
Stevie smiled wide seeing her daughter so happy. Robin was curled into Stevie's side; Robin gasped as she felt the baby kicking from inside Stevie.
"Mommy! The baby is kicking!" Robin exclaimed. Robin always got excited when the baby kicked. She placed both of her little hands on Stevie's belly; her mouth formed an O shape in amazement.

Destiny and Stevie chuckled; Stevie placed her hands next to Robin's and they both stayed silent while they felt the gentle kicks from the baby. Destiny watched in silence as tears rolled down her cheeks. She felt so grateful to her mother but, sometimes she couldn't help but wish that she was the one to carry her own child. She wondered how it felt; she quickly wiped her tears away before her mother could see.

"Hi baby! I your...oh yeah! I your auntie Robin!" Robin said as she talked to Stevie's belly. "I can't wait till you come out! And when you grow bigger, we can play and I can teached you a whole bunch of stuff!"
Stevie smiled as she listened to Robin.
"Oh!" Robin exclaimed then lowered her voice so Stevie couldn't hear. "And we can sneak some ice cream when mommy and sissy aren't looking! Just like auntie Christine does when she watches me!"
"What was that Robin?" Stevie said sternly but couldn't help but smile.
"Um...nothing mommy! I...uh...I didn't says anything." Robin stammered with wide eyes. "Um...oops!"
Stevie chuckled then said. "Speaking of ice cream...why don't we go downstairs and get some. The baby wants some."
"You're not mad mommy?" Robin asked tentatively.
"No I'm not mad." Stevie said hugging Robin. "But I will be talking to your auntie Christine very soon. Now, come on! Let's go get some ice cream!"
"Yay!!! Okay mommy! Come on sissy! Let's go!" Robin said as she hoped off of the bed.

Their night went on until Robin fell asleep first; Destiny carried her baby sister to her room and tucked her in then walked back to her mom's bedroom.

Stevie laid on her side, one had making gentle circles on her belly. Destiny walked to the bed then climbed in and laid next to her mother.

"How are you feeling mom?" Destiny asked.
"I think, that ice cream sundae we had made this baby girl hyper!" Stevie chuckled. "She's kicking up a storm in there."
Destiny smiled then asked. "May I?"
"Of course!" Stevie said as she placed Destiny's hands on her belly.
"Oh my! She moving and kicking around so much!" Destiny exclaimed; tears formed once again in her eyes. The tears finally spilled over her cheeks; she began to sob.
"Destiny, what's wrong?" Stevie asked worriedly.
"Nothing. I just..." Destiny said and stopped mid-sentence.

Stevie reached up and tilted her daughter's chin up so she could look into her eyes.
"Go on. Tell me." Stevie said.
Destiny sighed then laid close to Stevie, laying her head on her mother's shoulder.
"I don't want to sound ungrateful or sound like I am complaining. Well...maybe I am. Ugh!" Destiny said as she struggled with expressing her feelings. She was worried she would upset her mother. Destiny sighed again then said. "I love you mom! I have expressed over and over again how grateful I am and how thankful I am to you. I will be thanking you for the rest of my life for doing this for me. But...I just wish...that I could experience this. I wish it was me that was pregnant. I wish I could feel my baby kick inside my belly. I wish...I wish..." Destiny was sobbing so hard now.

Stevie was crying too; she brought her daughter close to her and held her in her arms. Destiny cried into Stevie's chest; she couldn't help but feel the way she was feeling. She kept thinking about Madison and how she was able to experience the joy of carrying Mathew's child. Yes, she forgave Mathew but couldn't stop thinking about Madison and the baby she was carrying. Destiny knew that very soon she was going to have to tell her parents what was going on. They for sure would want to know who the child belonged to that they were having over on weekends and certain holidays. They would soon know of Mathew's infidelity.

Stevie just let Destiny cry it out; even the baby had settled down and stopped kicking while Destiny cried. Stevie then began to sing; she had always done this when her children were sad, sick or couldn't sleep. Each time her children would calm and either drift to sleep or sing along with her.

Destiny closed her eyes and listened; her mother's voice instantly calming her.
Soon the baby began to kick again and this time, Destiny could feel the kicks on the side of her belly.

Sure, it wasn't the same, but for a moment, she imagined the baby was in her belly. The kicks continued and Destiny was able to smile again. She opened her eyes and pulled away from her mother.

"I'm sorry for breaking down and sounding ungrateful. I just...I was having a pity party." Destiny said. "I can't help but ask myself what did I do wrong? Why can't I have a baby myself? I know my doctor explained it but, still, I just wonder why me." Destiny stopped for moment the said. "When you were singing, I had my eyes closed and...I felt the baby kick on the side of my belly. I know it's not the same, but I don't know, for a moment I imagined that she was in my belly kicking me. It gave me some comfort."
"Oh Destiny, it's okay to have a pity party once in a while. I just wish I could change things for you. I hate to see you cry and know that you are going through some type of pain." Stevie said holding on to one of her daughter's hands.
"But I can't change this for you. However, I can and am doing this for you." She placed her other hand on her belly. "Once she's here, I believe it won't matter how she came into this world as long as she is healthy and loved. Which, she already has so many people who love her."

Destiny wiped her tears away and smiled; she then placed her hands on Stevie's belly to feel her baby kick.
"She is so loved. Thank you mom." She said.
"Anything for you baby girl." Stevie said with a smile.

Destiny leaned down and kissed Stevie's belly then said. "I love you baby girl. I can't wait for you to finally be in my arms!"
The baby kicked even more after hearing Destiny's voice.
Stevie giggled. "She knows her mommy's voice."

Destiny beamed; she wrapped her arms around Stevie and hugged her. "I love you mom."
"And I love you." Stevie replied.

Soon they watched their last movie of the night then after it was over Destiny walked to her room where Mathew was waiting up for her.

She closed the door then walked over to the bed and climbed in. She kissed Mathew on his lips then curled into his side, laying her head on his chest.

"Mathew..." Destiny began. "I think it would be best if we tell my mom and dad what's been going on. We need to do this sooner rather than later."
Mathew sighed then said. "I know. I've been thinking the same thing. I know they are going to hate me and...I deserve whatever they throw at me but, they need to know about Madison and the baby."
"Agreed." Destiny said with a heavy sigh.
"I'm really sorry Des. I messed up in an unforgivable way." Mathew said. "But you did forgive me and I am so glad you gave me another chance."
"Well...I love you. I know had you been sober, you wouldn't have done it." Destiny said. "But, I will never forget. Don't fuck up again. You won't get another chance."
"I won't." Mathew said. "I've learned my lesson. I almost lost you and...I don't want to do that. I love you and I want to grow old with you."
Destiny smiled then kissed his lips. "I love you too."

Mathew smiled then leaned down and kissed Destiny on her lips. Destiny kissed him back then their kiss intensified. That night, Destiny and Mathew reunited as one for the first time in months.

As Destiny drifted off to sleep, she felt such happiness spread through her. She fell asleep with a smile on her face and thinking that no one was going to get in the way of her happiness again.
