Stevie was rushed to the hospital; Lindsey rode in the ambulance with her while Mathew drove Destiny, Aiden and Robin to the hospital.
Robin was beside herself; she sobbed the whole way there. Seeing Stevie faint then seeing everyone try to wake Stevie up was traumatic for her. Destiny and Aiden tried to calm her down but it was no use.
"I want mommy! Mommy!" Robin sobbed, tears streamed down her cheeks. "Why...she not...waking up?! I...want..mo...mo.." Robin's voice gave out and she began to cough from crying so hard. Her little face was red and her eyes were puffy.
"Mathew pull the car over!" Destiny yelled.Mathew did as he was told and Destiny made Aiden switch places with her. Aiden jumped into the passenger seat while Destiny jumped into the back seat. Destiny then told Mathew to continue their drive. Even though, she knew it was unsafe, Destiny unbuckled Robin from her car seat and sat her little sister on her lap. She then held Robin close and began to rock her back and forth.
"It's okay baby girl. We are going to see mommy really soon and she is going to be okay." Destiny said as her own tears rolled down her cheeks.
Robin continued to cough but she calming down a bit. "Sissy...I want...mommy...now!" Robin choked out.
Destiny closed her eyes and did what her mother would do to calm Robin down; she began to sing. She sang another one of Robin's favorite songs. It was her favorite song that was sung by their auntie Christine. For you there'll be no crying
For you the sun will be shining
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's all right I know it's rightAnd the songbirds keep singing
Like they know the score
And I love you I love you I love you
Like never beforeTo you I would give the world
To you I'd never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's all right I know it's rightAnd the songbirds keep singing
Like they know the score
And I love you I love you I love you
Like never before Like never beforeLike never before
By the time Destiny finished singing Songbird, they had pulled into the hospital parking lot.
Robin had stopped crying and was playing with Destiny's crescent moon necklace; it was just like Stevie's and hers. Destiny looked down at Robin and she gave her a kiss on her forehead.
"I love you sissy." Robin said quietly.
Destiny smiled then said. "I love you too."
"Can we see mommy now?" Robin asked.
"Let's go find daddy then we'll talk to the doctors and see if it's okay." Destiny said.
"Otay." Robin said.Once they parked, Destiny got out of the car with Robin still in her arms. She got a better grip on her little sister then they all rushed inside to ask for Stephanie Buckingham.
Right away, they were told the room number.
Stevie was taken to a room right away since arriving; because of who she was, they didn't want to risk her being recognized.Aiden peeked in first to let Lindsey know they were there. Lindsey stepped out of the room for a moment.
"How's mom?" Aiden asked.
Destiny, Mathew and Robin looked on anxiously waiting for Lindsey's reply.
"She still hasn't woken up." He said. "They are working on bringing her blood pressure down. It's was sky high in the ambulance when they checked." He sighed as he rubbed his face. He was worried for his wife and grandchild. "Dr. Bartlett said that, your mom is at risk for preeclampsia. If they can't get her blood pressure under control...Dr. Bartlett said they will have to deliver the baby."
