Elders meeting
-------------------------------
"Attention! Attention! Ladies and gentlemen, please settle down." The head elder stood up from his seat at the head of the long table in order to get the attention of the now quite unraveled group of elders.
Receiving a request from the new Alpha of moon dance pack was something the elders did not expect or take lightly at all. The history with that pack and this island is violent and the treaty between us is fragile at best, however this is a new Alpha and the still fairly recent meeting he attended here with us showed that his leadership could be promising in the future. He has given us no reason to doubt that his intentions of repairing the relationship between the islands is in anyway jeopardized.
"As you all may know by now, we have received a respectful visit request from the new Alpha of Mood Dance Pack, Alpha Riley." The head elder continued as he looked around the room slowly.
"It seems as though, while here on his trip to meet with us, he may have met his mate." The head elder continued and the group again began to chatter among themselves wondering what this would mean for the two islands.
As the group sat around the large table, some were voicing concerns and questions. Others saw this as a good opportunity to better strengthen the treaty. The majority felt good about the new Alpha and were willing to cautiously give him a fair chance.
"He is now requesting to return to our island with the purpose of perusing this lead on finding his mate." The elder said.
"As standard protocol we will vote anonymously and the decision will be determined after the votes are counted. If the request is granted we will expect the Alpha within the next week." He finished and sat down.
A few minutes later the votes were taken and counted. The decision was unanimous and Alpha Riley's request was granted.
