I stand here breathing heavily, with a wounded shoulder, and torn clothing. I try slowing down my breathing, but its hard. I wipe the sweat from my forehead, most likely mixing it with blood, and I slide down the wall. I let the memories of what currently happened, roam free through my brain.

Flashback

After Aaron leaves, I lock the door and pace back and forth again. I look around the washroom and see a window. Perfect. I grab a stool near the sink and put it near the window, before opening the window, and climbing out. When I stand up and look, I see DPU members across from me. I turn around and walk away, only to see Eric talking to another DPU member. Eric turns around and meets my eyes, before.....

"There she is"

I turn right and begin to run. I cut right again and I continue to run, before I bump into someone. Aaron. I quickly get up, turn left and sprint across the street towards the woods. While running, I hear a gun fire and pain in my right shoulder. I let out an ear piercing scream, while hot tears stream down my face but I continue running. I jump over fallen branches and logs, some branches tearing my clothes. After a while, I come across a cabin and hide inside, behind the door of one of the bedrooms.

I hear footsteps outside of the bedroom window, but I don't dare look. They'll probably notice its me if I turn around. I hear them talking outside the window and they sound pissed.

"WHERE THE HELL DID SHE GO!?!" I hear one yell "ERIC'S GOING TO BE PISSED!!!"

End of Flashback

It was really hard finding this cabin because it blended in with the of the trees. When I am sure that they left, I walk out of the room and walk over to the bathroom to find a first aid kit or something I can use to clean my arm and wrap it. I look everywhere and manage to find a little first aid kit under the sink. When I finish aiding myself, I walk downstairs slowly and grab a knife for protection. I make my way out of the cabin and notice that there are no DPU members in sight. I let out a slow quiet sigh, before making my way back into town.

I go to a clothing store and buy a dark hoodie. When I go outside again I put the hood on over my head and walk down the street to where the park is. The moment I get there, I see Aaron sitting on one of the benches. I slowly make my way over to him, before I notice something. Chris and the other DPU members hiding behind bushes and trees. I make my way past Aaron as if I was someone who didn't know him.

"Damn, where is she? How could you screw up and lose her" I hear Eric say, well more like yell.

I continue to walk until I know that they can't see me. I turn the corner and find a bench. I take a seat and think of a plan on how to contact Aaron and where we should meet every now and then. I look up to the sky and continue to think, before I feel someone tap my shoulder. I turn my head and see Aaron. My eyes widen, but he does something weird. He takes steps back with his hands up in surrender.

"Sorry mam, I thought you were someone else"

He eyes quickly shoot towards the meadow and I instantly understand what he means before he turns around and walks toward Eric and the others. Man, that was close. When I know that they left, I get up and head towards the meadow. While walking, I feel like someone is watching me. I look over my shoulder and notice that Aaron is following me. I quickly look forward and head towards the cottage. When I get inside, I close the door but don't lock it.

I walk over to the kitchen and wash the blood that has made its way down arm. I hear the door open and footsteps coming towards the kitchen. When I turn around I see Aaron there, with a worried look on his face. He quickly makes his way towards me and hugs me, squishing my right shoulder into his chest. I wince at the pain, making Aaron let go and look at my shoulder. He notices the bandages wrapped around my shoulder and tears immediately appear in his eyes. I give him a hug and he puts his head on the crook of my neck. I feel his tears on my neck. I move a little and make him look at me.

"Aaron it's OK, I'm fine" I say, while wiping his tears away.

I give him a reassuring smile and he does the same, but I notice something strange in the window. I squint my eyes so I can see better and see the most scariest thing. Eric. I quickly look up at Aaron and feel something hit me in the back of my head before I black out.
