"Hello?"
"Hey (Y/N)! We still up for today?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm straightening up a bit,"
"Well you'd better get to it! I'll be there in ten minutes,"
"Okay Jack. See you then,"
You'd collected a box full of junk that you weren't quite willing to get rid of, but looked a bit tacky. So you were storing the stuff away to maybe sell some time in the future. You bent your knees and got a good grip on the box, then straightening your knees. By Jesus that box was heavy. Your arms started trembling so you started to trudge up the stairs before your arms had the chance to give out. It was almost impossible to see the steps in front of you because the goddamn box was so big. After a few lucky steps, you lost your footing and tripped. You fell down the stairs, hitting your head on the floor, the items in the box scattering.
Jack finally arrived at your apartment about seven minutes later (he would never tell, but he wanted to see you as soon as possible). He knocked on your door and patiently awaited your presence. After a few seconds too long, he tried your doorknob. It was unlocked. He slowly pushed your door open.
"Hello? I'm here!" he called out. He became worried when you didn't peep around the corner to greet him. He wandered around your apartment until he found you, unconscious on the floor. He gasped and fell to his knees beside you. He cradled you in his arms and held you close to his chest.
"(Y/N), hey, hey. Are you okay? Please," he pleaded, on the verge of tears. He pressed his hand to your cheek and tapped your cheek in attempt to wake you up.
Your eyes fluttered open and Jack inhaled sharply, a relieved laugh escaped his lips as he tightened his grip around you. Pain suddenly filled your senses. "Oh God, my head," you groaned. Jack just kissed all over your face, making you blush.
"What hap- why are we on the ground?"
"I think you fell down the stairs you clumsy idiot," he laughed, still holding back tears. Well, you had to admire that you loved being held like this. And Jack was adorable, it was great getting to see him so up-close. Your arms were uncomfortably squishing your boobs, so you moved your arms and snaked them around Jack's neck, pulling him down for a hug. His hand moved to the back of your head and his other remained firmly around your torso.
"You scared me so fucking much," he chuckled. You sort of half smiled and apologized. Jack pulled back from the hug enough to see your face. "But you're okay, right?"
"I think so. Might need some Advil or something," you smiled. He signed with a grin, shaking his head, then suddenly attacked you with a kiss.
