(A/N) Plagiarism

This is a serious topic. I cannot express my disappointment enough.

You hear about plagiarism all of the time, but you never think it could happen to you. I am very grateful that I was informed that a user on wattpad has stolen my work (a chapter called "Stunning" from this book) and inserted it, word for word, into their own book as a chapter they renamed "Art."

Had I been able to contact this person in any way, I would have not written this. I tried to message the user, or even comment on their book, to ask them to take the chapter down. However, it seems that the user has blocked me or something of the sort. I can't file a copyright claim because I'm sixteen and to be honest I have no idea how that all works.

I thought I'd take this moment to say: please, don't plagiarize. It's entirely inappropriate, and illegal if copyright is involved. It's downright shameful, if you ask me. Spend your time to instead work on your own writing, or perhaps strengthen skills in other areas.

If you chose to plagiarize, you can fix your mistake and delete it, or face the consequences. However, I should also point out that this is not an invitation for harassment or bullying, which I do not condone.

Next update is slightly delayed due to stress and lack of motivation after what I have been through today.
