Going on vacation is all about having fun and enjoying the time you have, and there is nothing better than spending time with people you love, that's exactly why when Raven decided she wanted to take a trip to Peru she wanted to take her girlfriend, (Y/N), along. (Y/N) was excited by the invitation, it was not every day that she had the opportunity to travel. The only bad thing about it was that she had never been a morning person, she always got a little annoyed if people woke her up too early. Unfortunately on this trip with Raven, (Y/N) couldn't afford to wake up late.

"(Y/N)?" she heard Raven calling to her as she poked her, causing (Y/N) to sink on the bed.

The two girls had arrived in Cusco the day before. The whole town was decorated for Christmas and they couldn't help but explore the whole place, sampled spices and talked to the locals. The night had already arrived when they finally went to the hotel and the only thing (Y/N) could think of at that moment was sleep, so as soon as her body hit the bed, the girl slept. If she had stayed awake for a few more seconds she would have heard an excited Raven commenting that the real journey would start the next morning. Early in the morning.

"(Y/N), wake up!" Raven's voice rose, making the girl grumble before opening her eyes slowly, searching the room clock. 7am. How wonderful. "Go get ready."

(Y/N) sat on the bed, a yawn leaving her mouth. Her eyes locked on Raven, who had stepped away from her and was concentrating on finishing putting what she had left in the room in her backpack. The Reyes girl was already dressed up and sent a glare to (Y/N) when she saw that the girl was still in bed.

"Okay, I'm awake." (Y/N) mumbled, slipping lazily out of bed while Raven was saying that the two of them would be late and that it would irritate the group.

What group? Maybe (Y/N) should have paid more attention to the information Raven had given her about the trip. The group was four more people (guide included) who would make the trail along with them. The trail, the Inca Trail, that to get to Machu Picchu, the place Raven longed to see.

(Y/N) was in a bad mood when they started walking the trail, she had been quiet as Raven socialized with the people in the group. Maybe the bad mood was also related to the fact that every now and then someone reminded her that that trail lasted four days and three nights, making the girl growl. But as the hours passed, (Y/N)'s mood began to get better. Raven's excitement helped in that. Soon, (Y/N) was with her girlfriend talking to the other people.

The trip was worth it (and the photos Raven had insisted on taking were beautiful), but it wasn't easy, it was exhausting. (Y/N) felt as if she would fall at any moment and that everyone would leave her there to die. Then she was very happy when they finally arrived at Machu Picchu, the gleam in Raven's eyes when she saw the place made (Y/N) forget how tired she was.

The Reyes girl wanted to go through the whole place, see everything, and pulled (Y/N) to do it with her. While she followed the girl, who was commenting some curiosity about the place, (Y/N) sighted an alpaca, making a smile appear on her face. She loved animals. (Y/N) took an apple from the bag she had, moving closer to the animal.

"Hey friend." she said, shaking the apple in her hand. "Do you want something to eat?"

The alpaca began to walk towards her, causing (Y/N) to jump excitedly, but the animal just walked past her, as if she weren't there. She heard a chuckle coming from behind her, turning to see Raven laughing at her. (Y/N) rolled her eyes and tried to approach the animal again, this time trying to pet it, but the alpaca just ignored her again, making Raven just laugh louder.

"Come on, lover girl, let's see the rest." she called after she had stopped laughing.

After walking a little longer, the two of them stopped in front of a staircase that went up a little further up the mountain, ending at the Moon Temple. A long staircase. (Y/N) felt her legs trembling at the thought of having to climb it. Raven grinned at her before she saw the grimace on her girlfriend's face.

"We don't have to go." she said, although (Y/N) knew she wanted it. Very much.

"No, no." she sat clumsily on the floor. "You can go."

"It's gonna take a while." Raven said uncertainly, looking between her girlfriend and the stairs. "I don't want to leave you here."

"I promise not to fall from the edge of the cliff." (Y/N) smiled, pushing Raven's leg lightly.

Raven smiled happily before bending down and giving the girl a quick kiss. "You're the best."

She took one more quick look at (Y/N) before she started up the stairs, and she was right, it had taken her a long time to get to the end of it. Although she was worried that she had left the other girl alone, Raven couldn't help but be amazed to see the Temple, she had waited a long time to see it. The view from up there was beautiful, she could see everything from there as she felt like she could touch the sky.

As Raven went down the stairs, she saw (Y/N) near the edge of the cliff, which made her roll her eyes. (Y/N) could easily fall from there. Raven watched (Y/N) for a few seconds, taking her cell phone to take a picture of the girl standing there. A smirk appeared on her face as she slowly approached behind the girl. (Y/N) just noticed Raven's presence when the Reyes girl's hands pushed her forward. (Y/N) screamed and felt her heart racing before she felt Raven's hands quickly grasping her waist and pulling her against the other girl's body.

"Not funny, Raven." she murmured, trying to break away from Raven's embrace, which didn't work, as the girl only pressed (Y/N)'s back harder against her body as she laughed.

"You were asking for it."

(Y/N) rolled her eyes, stopping trying to get away from Raven. They stared at the view of the cliff for a few more seconds before (Y/N) leaned her head to the front of Raven's shoulder, making the Reyes girl look at her girlfriend's face. A smile appeared on Raven's lips as she saw how beautiful (Y/N) was at the moment, even if the tiredness was evident on her face. Raven took (Y/N)'s hands in hers, entwining them.

"Thanks for coming with me." Raven said, lightly kissing the girl's neck. (Y/N) felt a shiver run through her body as she felt Raven's lips touch her skin.

"I wouldn't trade this for anything." she squeezed Raven's hand.

"I mean it, it wouldn't have been the same without you." Raven said, releasing her girlfriend slowly and turning (Y/N) to face her, holding both of the girl's hands. "What would have been of this trip without that alpaca ignoring you?"

(Y/N) grunted, rolling her eyes, making a grin appear on Raven's lips. "It wasn't hungry, that's all." (Y/N) said, a big grimace on her face.

"Yes, of course." Raven said mockingly, shaking her head at the girl.

"Yes, it wasn't hun..." Raven rolled her eyes before connecting her lips with (Y/N)'s, making the girl shut up and return the kiss.

Both moved their lips lightly against each other's. Raven licked (Y/N)'s lower lips, making the girl open her mouth and allowing her tongues to lean against each other, rubbing slowly against each other. (Y/N) had a slight taste of apple, which should have been the one she had tried to give the animal a few hours earlier.

The two of them kissed until they had to stop for lack of air, pressing their foreheads against each other. Raven rubbed her nose lightly against (Y/N)'s, smiling.

"The alpacas don't know what they're missing." she said, her voice a little husky. "The apple is delicious."

(Y/N) chuckled, giving a quick kiss to Raven's lips. "I love you."

Raven squeezed her hands. "I love you too." She let go of one of (Y/N)'s hands, still holding the other, and then started walking, pulling the girl along with her. "Come on, I'll help you get that alpaca's attention."

(Y/N) gave her a small smile, letting herself be pulled by Raven, who was searching for the animal. The trip had exhausted her, but it was worth it. Yeah, it was worth it.
