We went back to school in the 5th. The farewell at the platform was quick and awkward. I blame my dad for the last one.

FLASHBACK

“Good bye daddy”

“Have a nice term Rosie. Remember to study, have fun and…”

“I know dad, you say this every year.”

“Let me finish” He knelt in front of me so that we were eye to eye. “Don’t do anything, with Scorpius or anyone, that you would regret later. Some things you can never go back.”

END OF FLASHBACK

“Why can’t I have a normal father?” I cried out loud suddenly, startling my compartment mates – aka Scorp, Al, Ka, Roxy, Nik, Cam and Justin.

“Stop whining” Al groaned. I had been complaining for some time now. They’d finally made me shut up about half an hour ago and they were enjoying the silence.

“Look, Rose, your dad is just worried that you and Scorpius will have sex and you will get pregnant. He’s just not ready to be a grandpa.” Cam said looking sympathetic.

“Oh please, he just doesn’t want her to have sex with Scorp. Actually, I think that if it depended on Mr. Weasley, little Rosie here wouldn’t have sex at all!” I looked at Goyle in disbelief, partly because of what he said and partly because it was actually true.

“Can we… not talk about this?” Scorpius said. I realized he was looking flustered and I blushed.

“Right, sorry, I’ll stop.” I said feeling guilty.

“But this is what you said last time!” Roxy said exasperated. I gave her a dirty look. She shut it.

“Nik what happened to your brother? He’s been acting all weird lately.”

“Don’t ask me to understand what goes on my stupid brother’s head.”

“We saw him with Selena McLaggen at the party.” I said.

“James and I also saw them snogging”

“What do you mean ‘James and I’? Cameron, you know I was looking for him and now you tell me you were with him all the time?” Al looked angry.

“Hey, Albus come down. James didn’t wanna be found. I saw him when I went to call my mother. Oh! That reminds me, he asked me if he’d ever mentioned how good of a brother you were.” I was laughing at that point.

“What? Was he drunk?”

“Well, yeah!”

“HA, I’m so going to use this on him.”

“Rose is that why you took long to go back? Because you were with James”

“Yeah, it is love, sorry,”

“It’s okay” he gave me a peck on the lips.

“Please don’t snog when I’m around” Justin said looking disgusted.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I agree with Goyle.” Albus said. The others agreed.

“We weren’t snogging.”

“Right. Come on, we are almost there, we better change into our robes.” Roxy said jumping out of her sit.

The guys went to find another compartment so that they could change and we began to strip. By the time we finished getting ready the train had just pulled over at Hogsmeade station. The guys had already left so we took a carriage for ourselves.
