visiting the god parents

I know it's been a long time since I updated, but unfortunately real life decided I needed a kicking. I've decided to try and get this story finished , although my laptop has died so using my phone may lead to some issues with paragraph spacing. here goes.

Amy's P.O.V.

the Doctor and I spent most of the next day lounging around in bed, mainly because I felt ill and he was avoiding the inevitable. Only surfacing for a light supper , we didn't see much of Jess .

The next morning we went back to the Tardis with a definite plan. Visit the ood ,get the info we needed and then go from there.

I tried to lighten the mood a little by telling the Doctor " they're kinda like my god parents, guess they really liked my mum ".

That got me a laugh, we soon landed and were greeted by ood sigma .

Now it's very difficult to tell an oods facial expression, but I got the feeling he was pleased, if a little annoyed.

Guess they get sick of the Doctor being late , I was given what I suppose was tea , or whatever it was it settled my stomach which had been feeling dreadful for days.

We entered the circle and listened carefully to the old ones. The guardian spoke first

" we are glad to finally be able to greet the noble child properly , you have been away for far too long child.

But you Doctor, should have come sooner still.

In your distractions you have missed an important sign, some might say , an impossible sign."

Hating to be told off, the Doctor scowled at the guardian, " come on then, out with it. I'm going to die again , I'd rather not drag it out. "

Ever calm , the ood were silent for a moment then .." The bells toll for the end, but this will bring you to an impossible beginning, the sign of three must not be ignored if you are to survive you time on Trenzalore "

That said, taking the Doctors hand , the ood simply nodded when the Doctor took a gasping breath.

soon we were on our feet and running back to the Tardis.

Once inside , I had to ask " what did they show you to get you this worked up ? "

"while I was away , I met a girl who saved my life. But the thing is ,it's not the first time I've met her. she was on the darlek asylum and saved us all there too. But after she died for the second time all I wanted to do was come back and see you . But I should have trusted my gut and gone after her. so that's what I'm gonna do now"

As we landed I expected us to set off running after this mysterious woman, but we were in the library.

"what's going on Doctor, why are we here ?"

He was pacing and avoiding eye contact, so I grabbed his sleeve to still him. 

"I'm not going am I?"

After a scorching kiss he stood back, " not this time , if this involves Trenzalore, you are to be nowhere near. I will try and get back before regenerating, but I don't know how long this trip will be. "

"I'm not gonna keep coming back here and waiting around, call me when you get back, ok ? " I told him with a smile.

I could tell he was desperate to get going , so after a quick hug, I let him go .

I hit the kitchen to get something to eat, but ended up with tea, my stomach was flipping out on me again.
