"I like to cuddle."

I told the green eyed girl who continues to stare at me. I swallowed nervously feeling a bit uncomfortable under her stare.

"I'm practically a child at times."

She raises a perfect eye brow at that.

"Sometimes I'm funny."

I let out a nervous laugh. She still doesn't say a word but continues to stare at me.

"Uh, I make killer hot chocolate, uh...I like video games, do you?"

"Eh, not really."

She says leaning back on the chair crossing her arms across her chest. I'm really sucking at this date.

"Well this isn't going well..."

I mumble to myself glancing around the restaurant.

"This is to big! I won't be able to fit it in my mouth!"

A random guy next to us says to the girl seated across from him.

"That's what she said..."

I laughed quietly to myself. I look back at Lauren who's staring at me with narrowed eye brows. I clear my throat sitting up straight. Shit she heard me....

"Uh, what about you? Uh, tell me about yourself."

I asked Lauren. She sighs softly before saying,

"Look, I'm sorry but I don't think this date is going well."

She says softly, I sigh knowing this would happen.

"Yeah, your right. I'm sorry, I just- I really never been on a date. I mean I love talking about everything but I felt like actually doing something instead of this."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, like doing something fun."

"Like what?"

I rub the back of my neck thinking of something.

"Uh, do you trust me?"

I suddenly asked her, she looks at me confusedly.

"Uh, maybe? I don't know."

I rolled my eyes playfully before paying and grabbing her hand dragging her out of the restaurant.

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere better then this place."

I told her.

"Just follow me."

We walk down the sidewalk passing some houses and stores until I see a path going into the woods.

"A-are we going i-in there because it's pretty dark.."

She stutters. I smile at that and grab her squeezing it.

"Trust me."

And she does. We walk down the path with my phone flashlight leading the way. Trees, wildness, darkness around us, it as bit scary but I had Lauren with me. Time to time she would squeeze my hand as walked.

A few minutes later I finally found the place I've been looking for. A large field with a dark sky filled with billions of bright stars.

"Whoa."

Lauren said sounding amaze as she stared up at the sky.

"I found this place when I was just 1o years old. I would go here to think and have time to myself. This is a very special place and I always told myself, when I fall in love, I will bring the love of my life here and show them what they're missing. It's like my little hiding place no one knows, I mean you do now."

I told her smiling softly before looking up at the sky.

"Wait..."

She slowly said, I bit my bottom lip knowing she was trying to understand what I just told her. I glance over to her and saw her staring at me.

"What?"

"Y-you love me?"

"Lauren do you believe in love first sight?"

I asked putting my hands behind my back. She opens her mouth but closes it probably not knowing what to say.

"Well, I do. I mean it's crazy I know but the first time I saw you, I felt something, I felt something real. I was afraid of it at first because I didn't want to hurt myself thinking I was in love you.
But when I had the nuts to asked you out on the date and bring you out here, I just realized that-that I really do love you."

"I know we hardly know each other but let me tell you something, love hides in the most unthinkable places. Love hides under appearance, wit, and popularity and sometimes you never know it's there until it's the only thing left to notice."

"What I'm trying is, everyone around me never makes me feel the way you do. When I see you around school I get theses butterflies in my stomach and a smile always spreads across my face when you laugh. I love you Lauren, I really do, and I hope you can too."

She stands there under the moon light making her eyes light up, hair blowing from her face, a face I can't read....I just hope she's-

"I love you too."

My jaw drops open. Did I hear what I think I heard or I'm just dreaming?

"Say what?"

She giggles walking over to me putting her arms around my neck and kissing my lips. She's kissing me!!!! !Yes!

"I love you too."
