Adeles POV

"Goodnight sweet cheeks," I say to my twin 13-year-old girls, Ashlyn and Anika.

"Mum," they groan, "stop calling us that we aren't babies anymore." I walk over to there beds motioning for them to get in.

Anika adds, "Yea we're teenagers you need to call us something more... older like...."

"Like cupcake?" I ask, the room fills with laughter and I just sit there; frozen, watching my little girls laugh.

They aren't gonna be this little much longer.

I feel my life flash right in front of me, I can see myself sitting in a church watching my little babies get married, I see myself holding my grandchildren reading them a book.

I just hope that when I do finally let go of my children, that I know I taught them well and to be able to go out into this world strong and confident.

"Mum, Mum, Mum, Hellllooooo you there?" Anika waves her hand in front of my face. "Mum you okay."

I blink coming back into reality, "Oh uh yeah, yeah I'm fine."

"Your such a daydreamer," Ashlyn laughs.

"Okay okay, off to bed you two go," I get off Anika's bed and tuck her in, I plant a kiss on her forehead and do the same to Ashlyn.

You guys might not be little anymore; but to me, you'll always be my little babies. I turn off the light and shut the door behind me.

Before I turn around my 4-year-old son comes bumping right into the back of me and falls to the ground. "Woah there little buddy." I laugh.

"Mumma, watch where you're going."

"You're still my little peanut right?" I ask Angelo as I pick him up and walk to his bedroom.

"Well of course mummy, who else would I be? Iron Man?" I laugh as I put him down on his bed. "Well, I don't see what's so funny mum," he says very seriously.

"No, I don't expect you to be Iron Man. I want you to stay my little boy forever and to never grow up. Can you do that for me, Angelo?"

He thinks for a second, "Well I can try Mumma," he pauses, "when someone teaches me how." I laugh and kiss his head.

"Okay, thanks, Peanut. Goodnight! I love you."

He chirps in, "To the moon."

"And back," I say finishing our nightly saying.

I walk towards me and Simons room, after shutting Angelos bedroom door.

Slowly turning back around to look at the shut bedroom does, that have my children cozied up in their beds: I realize how quickly my children are growing up.

I slowly turn back around to enter our room which has a pile of laundry stacked up on our bed. With a sigh, I start folding the clothes. Within a minute a pair of strong familiar arms wrap around me and a kiss is placed on my cheek. I turn around to see Simon.
