Adeles POV

"We will be back soon kids!" I say as I kiss each of the kids on their heads and mouth a 'thank you' to my mum.

"So, how are we doing this today?" Simon asked getting into the driver's seat.

"Well, you'll shop for Angelo, and I'll shop for the girls, sound good?"

He nods as I hand him Angelo's Christmas list, "Your gonna need that."

He takes his eyes off the road, over to me and smiles, "and I'm gonna need you." He leans over and extends his arm across my stomach.

I look at him confused. That was random but I went with it.

I smile at him, lean in and peak his lips.

"So then what happened," Laura anxiously asks taking a sip of her tea.

"Well, let's just say telling him I wanted to get married wasn't the best thing to do."

Laura looks at me sadly, "Aw Doughnut, I'm sorry. Did you guys fight again?"

I nod looking to the floor, "But it's okay Laura," she looks at me confused, "we made up, and he even told me he wants to get married sometime."

Her jaw dropped, "Delly! That's amazing! That huge! That's incredible! That's ahh-," she jumps out of her chair and hugs me.

People stare but I don't care. I was too excited, saying those last words made me so excited for the day to come.

I couldn't wait.

She continues to latch onto me squealing.

I laugh, "Okay Lau, I get it; you're excited for me. But we have to continue to shop, or else the kids will be disappointed they didn't get anything for Christmas."

Laura lets go of me, squeals one last time, smiles, and takes a deep breath, "Okay, okay! I'm good now, let's go," She grabs her purse, and skips out of the café.

I laugh watching her, she's always been so happy, and bouncy.

She's always been there for me through those rough times, always making me laugh.

She's always been my best friend, little sister, she somethings even acts like a little daughter to me, so energetic.

I laugh thinking of my thought and hurry to catch up to her.

losing her, I look around and quickly spot her walking into Macy's. I run up to her huffing, "Why are you so out of  breathe Dell, we didn't walk that far?"

I shrug smiling knowing exactly why, "What?" She cluelessly asks.

My eyes trail over to a sign and read, newborn clothes half off today only.

I satisfy walk over to the section and start looking around.

Laura walks behind and huffs, "Adele," she whines, "I know how much you love great sales, but wouldn't you rather spend your time looking at stuff that's your actually gonna buy? Your children don't even fit it this stuff anyways."
