Can't Let Go

Adeles POV

We enter the house greeted by Louie jumping up on me, I bend down, letting him lick my face. 

He's like my shadow whenever I'm home, he's Mummy's dog. 

I lift him up kissing him. "See wouldn't you rather want to be greeted by not just one but two dogs!" Ashlyn says as she pets Louie.

I sigh. "I'm thinking about it, but don't get to attached to the idea." I smile at their determination. 

I take a deep breathe laying all the shopping bags down on the counter and watch my kids run to the living room, playing with the new toys Angelo got. 

Just then my phone vibrates I pick it up seeing it was from Rose, my personal assistant. 

"Hello?"

"It's me, just kidding," she pauses and chuckles, "hey Dell, so I have good and bad news. What would you rather want to hear first?"

I groan unsure, "the bad news. Well no, let's go with the good news first." Simon confusedly walks over to me hearing me talk on the phone.

"What! No way!" I excitingly say looking at Simon, "you're joking!"

"What?" he mouths, "Tell me," he curiously says leaning his head to the phone trying to hear.

I shove his head away, "What, are you serious. I've completely forgotten all about the tour. This whole week has been so busy!" 

"What?"Simon says now whispering.

"One minute Hun," I annoyingly whisper to Simon so she couldn't hear, "Okay well um," I pause, "I'm gonna talk to Simon and the kids about it, and then I'll get back to you! Okay, cool! Thanks so much. Mmmmhhhhh, thanks, okay, bye!" I squeal running into Simons' arms after hanging up, almost knocking him over.

"Tell me, Babe come on!" Simon begs not being able to wait any longer.

"They want me to play live at the Grammys, again!" I scream, "You have no idea! I finally get another chance after what happened last year!"

Simon gasps kissing me, "Oh my goodness babe, that's amazing! Are you going to do it? You have to do it! When are they?"

"I want to do it!" I pause, "but that's the thing, it's in February and my tour starts then."

He lowers his voice and rubs his hand up and down my stomach, "And what about this?"

"Ugh, no! I forgot about that too! What am I gonna do?" I whine pacing back and forth around the kitchen.

" It's okay slow down, you can do it really! You hid Ashlyn and Anika for 4 months, and Angelo for at least seven months. You can do this! Let's talk this more through later. What we can do now is watch how you grow, If you are unsure that you can't do it and hide it long. Then we can simply just announce it there."

I nod, he gently pulls me in for a hug, "Thanks, Si! You always know what to do," I say looking up at him and plant a quick kiss on his lips. I quickly jump back from his arms in shock grabbing my stomach.

Simon empathetically asks, "w-what's wrong babe?"

"The baby just kicked," I pause looking up into his beautiful eyes, "for the first time." A big smile appears across my face.
