Chloe's POV 

I decided to stay at home today and get some rest. I was happy to be back home with my mother and at the same times uneasy because of the mixed feelings I had about Nicholas. I felt happy, sad, giddy, but not love, like maybe but not love.  it is impossible for Nicholas to fall that fast for me and me him. I was still mentally kicking my self for allowing him to kiss me and vowed to my self not to let that happen again.

I moved towards the kitchen and then heard my phone ringing. I went over to reach it but stopped my self from answering it when the caller ID revealed that it was Nicholas. It rang again six more times but I did not answer it and then I got a message.

Why are you not answering

I read the message and just dismissed it not bordering to reply and shortly after another message came through.

Are you at the cafe or at home?
-N

I read it again and my anger just took over. Why can't he just get the hint that I do not want to be with him or see him!. More messages came by but I didn't read them.

I was taking out the trash when a plack BMW pulled over and Nicholas stepped outside. "You've been ignoring me and I don't like it", he says to me and I just shook my head. "Nicholas please like I told you yesterday, stay away from me. I do not want to see you and me refusing to answer your calls or messages proves that  point", I say to him. "If only I could stay away from you Chloe but I can't I love you why can't you just accept that!"

"Than its not love you feel Nicholas but infatuation and obsession. Don't you understand Nicholas that love is a strong feeling towards a person and that it cannot be taken forcefully but earned", I say to him and he just looked at me intently. "Look at me in the eyes and tell me you don't love me Chloe", he says to me and I did just that "I DON'T LOVE YOU", I say to him ignoring the sudden pain as my chest constricted that I had difficulty breathing. Could I have been wrong about my feelings towards Nicholas?!.  I looked up but he was already gone, I was so immersed in my thoughts that I had not noticed when he left. I sure hope he's okay.
