I noticed there was tension between my two best friends oh no this isn't supposed to happen there supposed to be friends! I said to myself "so what do you guys want to do?" I say trying to get them focused on the fun we could have then I got an idea "we could go to funland!" I say two them "yeah that sounds great Steven!" Connie said sounding more excited now the tension was getting smaller making me feel more relaxed "what's a 'funland'?" I heard peridot ask in her cute innocent voice I saw her give an I'll kill you glare to connie that was kind of mean but she wouldn't do that without a reason right?"well it's a place where you go to have fun! There's rides and food there too I'll show you" I said excitedly grabbing her hand and walking out the door.

We walked along the beach peridot and Steven in front of me holding hands uhh that stupid green alien freak thinks she can steal my Steven away from me! I've known him longer I'm his training buddy! He would never pick her over me I'll show her I walk up to Steven and hold his other hand as he blushes I give peridot a smirk she just looked back in front she was ignoring me! Why that little-"here we are funland!" Steven interrupted my thoughts "oh great let's go inside!" I say taking his hand and walking away from peridot who tryed to catch up but I didn't care but apparently Steven did "wait! Peri needs to catch up she doesn't know this place yet" he says stopping us and peridot caught up and Steven took her hand "you have a nick name for her?!" I asked jealously the only other thing he calls me is his 'jam buddy' "yeah is there a problem?" Steven asked kindly which made me relaxed a bit "o-oh yeah just that I don't have a nick name" I said trying to sound casual " oh! We can call you..hmm how about nie?" He said not what I was thinking but at least I have a nick name now "ha that's great!" I said to him "hey Steven what is that?" Peridot said changing the subject I looked at where she was pointing "oh those are the bumper cars!" Steven said excitedly "yeah that's sounds fun let's go!" I say maybe I can run into peridot I mean that is how you play the game.

We went over to the bumper cars and waited in a short line to ride when we got to the front the guy told us to get in a car I picked a green one (obviously) Steven got in a car next to me that was red and Connie got a blue car "ok everyone make sure you got your seat belts on!" The conductor said "you need help with your seatbelt?" Steven asked me kindly "..yes.." I said embarrassed he got out of his car and buckled me in our hands touched and we blushed he quickly went back over to his car I looked over at Connie who was giving me a death glare I don't know why she hates me so much the bumper cars started and everyone started bumming into each other I pushed a pedal and I went forward haha! I'm the most talented gem on earth nehehe I laughed to myself until someone ran into me..hard. I looked over to see non other than Connie with an evil smirk "hey watch where your going you fleshy clod!" I yelled at her I've had enough i tryed to be nice now it's on "Peri your supposed to bump into people it's 'bumper cars'" he said running into me not nearly as hard as Connie. "Oh we are.."I say getting an idea I saw Connie in the corner I races to her as fast as the little green car went and right before I ran into her she saw me "wait wait wait!!" She said putting her hands up in defense I crashed into her and quickly backed away she came at me and right when she was about to run into me again the ride stoped "nehehehe" I laughed to myself she gave me a look we got off the ride. Then I heard a buzzing sound coming from connies pocket she took out a rectangle shaped device "hello?..oh ok...bye" she said as she put the device back in her pocket "hey Steven I have to go my mom said it's getting late. So I'll see you around?" She asked totally ignoring me "oh ok yeah I'll see you around" Steven says back it was already sunset and the sky turned a pretty pink and purple color "bye!" Connie said putting her lips on Stevens cheek blushing he blushed back then she jogged away something inside me shattered it hurt more then Steven first mentioning her name. I felt something wet run down my cheek I quickly wiped the H2o off my face before Steven saw me " hey dot-wait what's wrong?" He said in a sweet caring voice uhh there he goes again with his know it all powers! "Nothing!" I said my words coming out more harsh then intended I wasn't mad at him this is everything but his fault I'm mad at the forsaking Connie! I saw him back away a bit "s-sorry I just I- let's go back to the temple.." I say looking down "o-ok but if you don't mind I would like to show you one more ride" he said with a handsome smile holding his hand out no matter how hard I tryed I couldn't resist I took his hand gracefully and we started walking we stopped when we reached this oversized wheel with lights "this is the Ferris wheel!" Steven said excited we got to the front and the guy that was controlling the 'ferris wheel' opened a cart for us or should I say m-me "after you pretty lady" I blushed walking in Steven came behind me we started moving "he called me pretty" I say to Steven "yeah what's wrong with that?" He said smiling but I could tell it was forced like how I forced myself to smile near connie I wonder if we're feeling the same thing? I thought to myself "I'm not pretty" I said looking out at the ocean "w-what? Your kidding me right your the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.." he said quickly and quite I looked at him with stars in my eyes "r-really?" I asked blushing he looked at me and started blushing "yes" he said as the wheel stopped us at the top where we could see The Whole city and the beautiful sunset he started leaning in this just feels right I thought to myself leaning in also closer until I could feel his warmth against my body once again there was what felt like a spark our lips meet..our warmth melting me more into the kiss i wanted this moment to last forever but sadly that was not the case we pulled away breathing for air.

The ferris wheel stopped us at the top I looked at her Beautiful eyes everything about her was perfect I was going to end this need right now I couldn't take it anymore I leaned in and she did the same it's like I was in a fantasy world our lips touched it's was everything I wanted it to be and more I wanted to stay like this forever but I had to breath some time I pulled away panting for air I looked at her as we stared into each other's eyes blushing majorly "I-I'm sorry I s-soulfent have done that" I said to her "n-no..it's about time you done that." She said hugging me "p-peridot?" I asked "yes?" She says in a sweet tone "I love you"
