I woke up a found that I couldn't move from Stevens bed I felt something warm behind me and I automatically knew it was Steven I relaxed a bit and snuggled back with him for a while but he soon woke up as well "o-oh sorry dot.." he says letting go of me with a nervous smile "it's fine" I say back as I sit up the light from the window led to my hand and a shiny object caught my eye I looked down to see the ring Steven gave me I smiled and blushed as the thoughts of last night came  rushing back when suddenly I heard a ring coming from Stevens device he picked it up "hmm Connie texted me and asked if I could come over." He said smiling that adorable smile of his but inside I hurt I already knew what was probably going to happen she would still my Steven away from me! Wait..Steven said he loved me I didn't say I love him back! I need to before it's to late...I thought as I was snapped out of my thoughts by Steven "peridot are you ok?" He asked me with a worried expression " huh o-oh yeah I'm fine!" I say trying not to sound nervous "I just need to..think" I said making up an excuse to leave it wasn't really lying to him cause I did need to think I ran into the bathroom and shut the door "ok peridot this small mission is easy just tell Steven that you l-love him but how? I can't find the nerve to say it to his face..then I saw a peace of paper and a pen sitting on the counter "the great and lovable peridot has an idea!" I say loudly but not loud enough for Steven to hear. Pick up the pen and paper and start righting down my feelings:
Steven when I first came to earth I thought there was nothing for me here but then I found you..I trust you and you confessed that you loved me I didn't really know what love was at first but when you explained what it was I automatically knew I..well I love you too Steven universe.

"Perfect!" I said as I fold the peace of paper neatly and put it in my hidden pocket (I let her have a hidden pocket cause where else would she put it?) then there was a knock on the door " what?!" I asked Steven which I knew it was because there's no one else in the house "I..wanted to know if you wanted to come with me?" I heard Steven ask through the door "no" I said back plainly I don't want to be near that fleshy clod.."please??" He begged I could tell he was doing those puppy dog eyes I thought about it well I could keep an eye on Connie..and I get to hang around Steven.."fine I'll go with you.." I say as I open the door to find a smiling Steven "yay!" He said as he hugged me and I blushed "ok, ok let's go before I change my mind!" I say still blushing as he lets me go he grabs my hand and we walk out the door. " so where are we going to meet..Connie?" I ask with a forced smile saying her name out loud hurt me more than in my mind " oh we're going to a barn my dad showed me he said it's been in the family for a while!" Seven said with his normal cheerful voice that's one of the many things I like about Steven his whole world could be falling apart and he would still have positive energy. We reached the barn to see Connie sitting next to it reading a book. I can't wait to see how this plays out..I said sarcastically in my mind as we walked closer to the barn.
