I was sitting on the crystal gems couch waiting for Steven to come back with a 'towel'. I saw him walk out with what looks like a smaller than average blanket "here you go peri"Steven said to me with a smile he was always so kind to me I really want to know what he finds so special about me. " uhh thanks but how do I use it?" I asked him confused I never saw such a wired device "oh you just rub it on your skin and then you become dry! Here" he said as he took the towel and put it on my wet hair he rubbed my hair with the towel and when he took it off my hair was dry..but it was messy and sticking up all poofy and out of control looking "AHH!!what have you done to my hair!?" I yelled as I looked at the near by mirror on the wall. "Hehe sorry peridot that happens sometimes. I can fix it besides you look cute with your hair like that anyways."he said the last bit more quite as his face started heating up "I-I'm not c-cute!" I said with a blush on my face. "Hehe whatever you say peri~" Steven said as he got up and went to his desk and came back with what people call a 'brush' he started brushing my hair softly and gently. He drys the rest of my wet skin and when he was done I noticed he didn't get a towel. "Steven where's your towel don't you need one too?" I said a bit worried because a few days ago I heard humans could get 'sick' if they stay wet for to long. "Well..yeah but there was only one towel and I thought you needed it more than me" he smiled. I took off the towel that had been rapped around me and started drying Steven off "you need to get dry too so I'm helping you the way you helped me" I said determined to do what he did to me I brushed his hair and dried him off.

Peridot was drying me off making my hair all poofy and out of control like hers was " hehe pay back!" She said to me. When she was done I combed my hair and went back to my room "hey peri come here!" I yelled with a smile I thought we could cuddle up on my bed to watch a movie since the wether is getting pretty bad and the gems are still out so there's nothing to do. "What do you want Steven?" She asked me walking up the stairs to my room. "Well I was wondering if you would like to watch a movie with me?" I asked pulling out s box of movies that we could watch. "Umm sure" she sat next to me by the box. We looked through them unroll she pulled out a movie called final destination "uhh I don't think you would like that one hehe" I said with a nervous smile. "Oh,ok" she said pulling out another movie "this one looks cool!" Peri said to me as she held up the movie called frozen "oh well..ok" I said to her I've already seen it so many times before but she wanted to watch it so..mine as well.

I was watching 'frozen' which I thought was a cool movie. I looked over to see Steven who didn't seem as amused but was enjoying it Steven looked over and I quickly turn away with a faint blush. The movie was at the part when they were reversing the 'winter' spell when the image cube turned off and shortly after the near by lamp that was on turned off including all the rest of the houses lights "s-Steven?!" I slightly yelled as my eyes adjusted to the darkness the only thing lighting up the room was the moon light. "Peridot? I-it's fine the power must have gone out hehe" he said giving a small smile from what I could see in the dark. "The lights should be on soon but until then we could go outside there's more light out there." Steven said slowly getting off the bed slightly tripping over something on the floor "yeah that sounds like a good idea and we can see if the other humans have 'power'" I said getting up as well I felt something warm grab my hand gently I started blushing what is this feeling? I thought to myself as Steven started walking slowly to what looked like the stairs to go to the door "great let's go but be careful I don't want you to get hurt" Steven said kindly to me we walked down the stairs to the door and Steven opened it for me "after you Peri" Steven said letting go of my hand "wow thanks" I said as I walked  out the door and stopped when I saw the beautiful moon and stars "wow.."I said breathlessly it is truly amazing I saw the home world star as it shimmered in the pail moon light. " what cha lookin' at Peri?" Steven came up behind me I forgot he was there "just..." I thought if he would be upset that I still think of home world "the stars.." I said cautiously "they are beautiful.." he said looking up. We sat there looking at the stars for a few more seconds then he grabbed my hand my face immediately started heating up again but I tryed to hid it in the dark "h-hey I have a better place that we can sit and look at the stars..you know and hang out?" Steven said to me I looked at him I couldn't see much in the dim light but I could tell he was blushing "y-yeah that sounds g-great" I said back what is this weird feeling?! Is it some sort of earth sickness? Why dose it only happen when I'm around Steven I never felt this way towards anyone before why now? Ok peridot enough questions just enjoy this moment. I said to myself as Steven started walking to the 'place' he was talking about.

The power went out and we were waiting outside looking at the beautiful night sky I looked over at peridot who was looking at the stars the dim moon light was shining off her gem making a beautiful aroma around her. She looks so cute and she's come so far..well I think the gems may not trust her but I think she's perfect-wait no where are all these sudden thoughts coming from?! I like Connie, i mean we have been friends for a while now and..she's pretty and fun to be around! I then got an idea I'll take peridot to my moms hill where she brought the moss to bloom it has a great view and it should pass the time also we can see all of beach city to see if anyone has power. I grab her hand gently and she started blushing aww so cute! I thought ""h-hey I have a better place that we can sit and look at the stars..you know and hang out?" I said blushing "y-yeah that sounds g-great" she said back she looked at the stars again one in particular..her home world I know because some nights me and the gems would come out here and they would tell me story's and what some gem places were.  I started walking towards moms hill still holding peridots hand.
