Hey guys sorry I haven't updated in a while! But here's a chapter!

                        Stevens p.o.v
"We need help from the gems!" I say still processing all the information that was just given to me I look over at peridot to see she's not taking it well either "h-hey are you ok?" I ask her putting my hand on her shoulder as she looks up at me "yeah the whole world might explode and there's no solution that we have yet so yeah I'm just perfect.." she says sarcastically "but if we're going to get even close to destroying the cluster we need help..we can't do it alone.." I say to her I saw a defeated look followed by a sigh "I guess your right steven..let's go get the gems!" She said standing up still looking unsure about getting their help "but first we need a plan on how to tell them.." I heard peri say as she got into a thinking pose "how about..drawings? A play? A reenactment?" I started naming off ways we could tell them " I have an idea.." I heard her say with a smile as she dragged me to a box of crayons and a empty box "ok so I color the box to look like earth and put you inside then when I tell you, you will pop out with a resemblance of the cluster!" She says to me sounding proud of what she came up with "oh ok!" I said to her it's been a while since I saw her excited about something I helped with the box then I remembered that I still needed to make the cluster I look around and see an old sock that will do I tell myself as I get up and get the sock, red swirly eyes, I also got some green paint I honestly don't know why I think the cluster is green but it seems to fit for some reason..I walk back to peridot who was almost done with the earth/box and put my cluster creation together when we were both finished we went to get the gems "garnet, amethyst, pearl?!" I say as I knocked on the gem door then amethyst answered..well not the gem I was hoping for but I'll take it "what's up ste-man and p-dot?" She asked slouching against the wall "amethyst this is important we need all the gems out here please" I said trying to get passed her nonsense that she normally does I enjoy it some times but in this situation it's not helping. "Oh uhh ok I guess.." amethyst says as she goes back in her room and yells up the waterfall to pearls room a few seconds later I saw pearl and garnet appear and they all walked out of her room " there's something you want to tell us Steven?" Pearl says looking questionably at the box in peridots hands "do you want to tell us about your new girlfriend Steven?" Amethyst says with a grin as she points at peridot who had a confused look "girlfriend?" She asked confusingly I immediately started blushing but tryed to hide it "amethyst she's not my girlfriend..." I say blushing more. I wish she was though.. I thought to myself "ok whatever. I have you guys out here to share very important information with you.." she says putting the box over my head I couldn't see much but that was fine cause I could hear what was going on around me. A few minutes passed and all I heard was peri talking about what the cluster was and what it was capable of  "when the cluster emerges.." she starts and then taps on the box I guess that was the signal..I thought as I got ready to destroy the fake earth with my cluster puppet " rawr!" I say popping my puppet through the box then I felt my hand get slapped "what is that?!" I heard peridot say from the box "it's the cluster" I said through the sock puppet "*sigh* the cluster dose not look like that but when it dose emerge it will destroy the earth!" She says to the gems who had a surprised, scared face. I got out of the box and threw it aside.

Peridots p.o.v
Steven got out of the box as I let the gems absorb all the knowledge I gave them. "This is terrible we need some sort of...drill or something! To drill down to the cluster and stop it from taking form!" Pearl said but I was thinking the same thing. A pearl should not be coming up with such plans! "Hold on I wasn't finished! We need some sort of drill to go down to the center of the earth to stop it!" I say smirking as I look up at pearl who had an annoyed look. "Where are we supposed to find that equipment?" Garnet asked with her same as always look but if you looked closely you could see the worry. "I have an idea!" I heard Steven say he led us to an abandoned barn with a lot of junk in it. If we were looking for junk why didn't we just go to amethyst room? I asked myself as we walked into the structure "this is my dads but he never uses anything in here so we can!" Steven said proudly "hmm this should work.." pearl says looking around at the equipment "well let's get started" amethyst said boringly "amethyst we can't just go putting stuff together! We need a thought out plan!" Pearl says walking up to a chalk board and started drawing a replica of what the drill should require to go into the earth. "Right, let's get the obvious equipment!" I said smartly pointing to all the junk laying in piles "right" pearl says helping me get the supplies we needed to start building the drill honestly, for a pearl who is supposed to just stand there and take orders she is pretty skillful. We worked for what felt like only a few hours until Steven came up to me "hey peri how much longer are you going to work on this?" He said as I stopped what I was working on " well for a bit longer we haven't been working on it for that long Steven." I said getting back to what I was working on "but it's already night! The sun is going down now!" He said pointing to the sunset that I just then noticed. "Oh wow I didn't realize hehe.." I said putting my tools down. I would love to go with Steven and stop stressing over the drill but the other gems are working so hard I can't just stop now. "Go on peridot. We got this plus you deserve a brake." Garnet said looking at me and Steven with a smile "o-ok.." I say back to the fused one. I walk out of the barn with Steven as I felt my legs get heavy. We walked over to a hill and sat down looking at a perfect sunset. "It's beautiful.." Steven says to me I think he meant the sunset but his facial expression says otherwise. I blushed a slight shad of green as I felt myself getting more sleepy as I leaned on Stevens shoulder and closed my eyes "goodnight peri~" was the last thing I heard before falling into a relaxing sleep.

                     Stevens p.o.v
I was looking at the sunset with peridot who had been working really hard with the gems on the drill. I felt a little more weight on my shoulder and I look down to see a peaceful looking peridot I blushed "goodnight peri~" I say to her as I hear little snores. Aww she looks so cute! Everything about her seems so..perfect I don't know why she doesn't see that..I thought to myself as I saw the little bit of sunset fade and the earth lit by the moon light. I picked peri up bridle stile and walked to the temple. I walk up the stairs and put her down softly in my bed carefully not to wake her. I don't know when her sleeping in my bed with me became a habit but I no longer feel uncomfortable about it I actually kind of..enjoy it. I kissed her on the forehead and lay down next to her and look at her one last time before having a wave of sleepiness wash over me as I fall into a deep sleep.
