I woke up in the barn and rubbed my head where it was sore I was a bit confused about what happened but then I remembered..."let's see who Steven loves after this..peridot" the words I heard before I passed out played over in my head like a broken record. I knew who the voice was..Connie. I wanted to know where-or what she did with Steven. I walked out of the barn not really knowing where I was going but I was determined to find my pebble...it felt like an hour or two since I started my search and I've looked almost everywhere in beach city but I couldn't find anything and I started to worry more I didn't want to get the gems because it was my fault that this happened, we weren't supposed to go to the kindergarten in the first place and even though the gems never directly told me we weren't allowed to go I knew it could be a dangerous place. I sighed and walked over to the beach I figured I needed a small break from my search for Steven. I sat down on a rock by the shore and stared at the ring Steven gave me..what if I never find him? What if Connie did something terrible to him?! The more I thought the more I was worried. I got up and turned to my right to see something that made my heart shatter and those shattered pieces of my heart, were dragged down by chains and were stuck in the deepest part of me. I felt tears that were not intended, roll down my face. What I saw...was-
