What I saw was Steven...with Connie and they were holding hands, yes they were friends before I got to earth but what made this different was that they just got done making out...I backed away and started running towards the barn, well I think I was heading towards the barn but I couldn't be certain because of the tears blurring my vision. I heard a slight voice behind me it sounded like Stevens but I didn't care I just ran faster, if possible. I got to the barn and slammed the barn door behind me. I slid down the barn wall and cried in the corner in my knees, I don't think I've ever been hurt so badly..is this what humans call pain? But on the inside?..I thought about what happened and asked myself repeatedly why he would do that..it doesn't seem like Steven to hurt someone..then I felt a hand on my shoulder and heard someone sit down next to me. "Are you ok peri?" I hear the person ask I look up with tear stained eyes too see lapis looking worried "I-I'm fine" I say with my best convincing voice but of course it didn't fool lazuli. "Don't lie to me..if nothing was wrong you wouldn't be crying your eyes out" lapis says with sincere eyes. "Uhh..fine I'm not ok..I just saw something that I thought would never happen but..I'll be fine in 30 minutes you know me" I say putting on my fake smile and she grabs my shoulders "peridot tell me what happened, I've never seen you this upset before" lapis says cautiously and I sighed. "Ok well it started like this-"

Me and Connie were walking around the beach when I caught Connie looking at something I was about to look in the direction she was looking in but before I could, Connie pulled me into a kiss. Something about this kiss didn't seem right..everything felt wrong I didn't kiss back but I didn't pull away. When we departed I held her hand and put on a fake smile to hide this weird feeling that I had. I heard soft sobs behind me when I turned around I saw a green gem, a cute gem if you ask me, running away. She looked as if her whole world fell apart and all of a sudden I got this heartbroken feeling then something clicked in my head...peridot. Peridot!!! I remember her name! But how do I know her? It doesn't matter right now before I could react I yelled out to the green gem "peridot wait!!" I yelled without thinking but she just ran faster almost tripping over multiple things because of how fast she was running. I was going to go after her but my hand was grabbed and I turned back to see an infuriated Connie but her expression changed to a soft smile. I could tell she was faking it "how do you know her?" She asked me "I-I don't know..I just remembered her name..do you know her?" I asked her curiously "no, no I don't" she said with a small bit of hatred in her voice. "Are you sure? I remember she was someone important.." I say remembering things about her..her name and that she was a..friend? But..why was she crying? "I told you I don't know her! She's probably not that important!" She says tightening her grip on my hand. I got out of her grasp and started running. I don't know why and I don't know where but I just ran..my mind told me I needed too, I wanted too..I came to a barn and it felt so familiar...I walked up to it and I touched the door and a flash back of five gems was shown in my memory, a blue gem named lapis, a fusion named garnet, a gem named pearl and a purple girl named amethyst. They were my family and I loved them dearly...I would never forget them purposely...but then I remembered peridot...she was my friend...I liked her more then a friend. No wonder she was crying when I kissed connie!! She might have liked me back? But there was one thing I didn't understand..who erased my memories? I pushed my thoughts to the back of my head. All I had in mind was apologizing to peri and telling them my memories were erased. I opened the door to see an angry lapis glaring at me and a sad peridot. I backed up a bit at her glare and put my hands up in defense. "How dare you hurt peri?! You jerk!" Lapis says angrily. "W-wait let me explain!! Someone erased my memories! I don't know who but I just got a whole bunch of flash backs and I'm so sorry guys!" I say sadly and sincerely "r-really? Who would erase your memories?" Peridot says not looking at me "it's not a 'guys' you should be sorry to its peridot that you say sorry too!" Lapis says and stops glaring at me. "Peri I'm sorry...I understand if you don't like me anymore..I'm a jerk" I say sitting next to her. "How are you a jerk? You couldn't remember anything so it's not your fault it's whoever erased your memories fault," Peri says looking at me "and I do like you Steven" she says smiling slightly. She looked so cute! Wait...nows probably not the best time for this but I got to tell her eventually..lapis looks at the two of us and walks out of the barn door "I'm going for a fly...I need to think..about a way to kill the person who erased Stevens memories" lapis says half joking half serious then she takes off into the sky. "Peri..I know nows probably not the best time but..I like you..more then a friend" I say blushing. She looked at me shocked which made me blush more. "Y-you know what..j-just forget what I said" I say embarrassed "I'm not going to forget what you said because I like you too." Peri says smiling as I look into her eyes and feel myself leaning in I see her blush and close her eyes and I closed my eyes as well as our lips met and little fireworks were going off inside me like an explosion that I could barely keep inside. It felt short but I know we've been kissing for about 2 minutes but we sadly had to break apart for air. She looked at me and we both smiled "I love you" I say to her "I love you too" she says smiling "peridot will you be my girlfriend?" I ask "of course pebble" she says cheerfully and we kissed again "well a lot happened when I was gone" comes a voice from the barn door and we look to see lapis smirking in the door way and we both blush "I would ask what happened but I listened to your whole conversation and i saw your little make-out session." She says with a thumbs up and a wink and I blush harder "lapis why were you spying?!" Peri says to her with a flustered face. "Because that's who I am as a gem" she says smirking. I looked at the moon and stars in the sky surprised that it was this late I yawn. "Can I stay here tonight? I don't feel like walking to the temple at night" I ask peridot and lapis "it's fine with me" lapis shrugs and lays in the hammock. I smile and see peridot go up the stairs to the truck, I guess she sleeps there. I climbed up there with her and I hear lapis yell at us, "I don't wanna hear any funny business!!" She says and me and peridot blush hard "lapissss" I say in a scolding tone she laughs "I'm just kidding!" She yells back and I sigh laying down next to peri. A few minutes later I feel something warm wrap around me and I open my eyes too see a sleeping peridot cuddling with me I smile and snuggle her for warmth and I kiss her forehead "goodnight pear bear" I say smiling and soon after, fall asleep.
