The next morning

After Steven running off after that alien freak I had a quick debate with myself about if I should follow him or not. I've come this far and I'm not going to give my Steven up yet. I quickly ran in the direction he ran to find that he followed peridot to the barn. I decided it would be best if I stayed out of sight so I hid behind a bush as I saw him

I woke up feeling warm and used my hand to shad my eyes from the bright yellow light that people call the sun. I turned slightly to get away from the sun but ended up being face to face with Steven and blushed then I realized that we were cuddling, I suppose that's why I feel so warm..normally I would have moved out of his grasp by now but I didn't want to and honestly, even if I tried I probably wouldn't be able to get out because he's holding me so tight as if this is the last time he was going to see me but I enjoyed it. I snuggled into his chest and blushed at how warm he is.  "peridot?" I heard Stevens soft voice call me and I looked up to see him blushing and his eyes never left mine. A slight panic yet satisfaction filled my senses as I looked back at him "good morning Pebble" I said to him smiling and I saw him blush as he noticed how close we were and that he was still cuddling me "hehe..sorry about that" he said nervously laughing and unwrapped his arms from around me leaving me feeling more empty without his touch. "It's alright..it was actually rather enjoyable.." I said sitting up as well as Steven and he gave a gentle smile. We may have only been together since yesterday but it felt like forever and I liked it that way. I soon found myself leaning towards him almost in a trance and I saw him also leaning in closer until I felt his hot breath against mine. I was so close to that feeling that I always longed for when our lips collided together but of course...someone had to ruin it. A soft squeal was heard from the corner of the truck and sure enough it was lapis practically hyperventilating at our moment. Me and Steven pulled away from each other blushing like crazy and lapis stopped the squealing looking at us "no no no, please continue on what you were doing...I'll give you two some privacy" she said with a grin as she walked out of the barn, I suppose she was going for a fly like she always does in the morning. I was lost in my own thoughts that I barely noticed Stevens chuckle "well lapis will be lapis" he said smiling and I rolled my eyes and looked at him "I suppose so," I said giving him a slight smirk "but I'm not done with you clod" I said pulling him in for a kiss shortly after my sentence. I couldn't stop thinking about yesterday..not just the fact that me and Steven got together but of what Connie did. And I couldn't help but wonder where she was or what she was planning to do next but I pushed the thoughts in the back of my head as I savored the moment I was having with my clod.

I know, I know I haven't updated in FOREVER. And quite honestly I'm not going to give an excuse cause I have none other then I haven't had a lot of time. But I will try to update as much as I can but since school started back up again I've been pretty busy with stuff. So this is goodbye for now.
