"Fantastique." Clara growled, quickly pulling her Charms book away from the puddle of pumpkin juice. The pages in her book were soaked in the orange substance, completely ruining the book.
"Tergeo." A voice muttered, and slowly the liquid siphoned off of her book. Clara looked up to see Fred and George Weasley take a seat across from her at the Hufflepuff table. George tucked his wand away in his robes, winking at her.
"You're welcome." George said when Clara didn't say anything to the two.
"Looks like you're having a little bit of trouble there." Fred said, nodding towards the crumpled up parchment paper that was piled on the table next to Clara. Clara sighed, slumping forward in her seat.
"You do not know the difficulty." She said, eyeing her charms notes. "Even after constant pratique in my sixieme annee, I still cannot cast water-making spells and I absolutely cannot turn vinegar to wine." She sighed. "It is a wonder how I gathered an OWL in charms two year ago. But right now, j'en ai plus rien à foutre." She said angrily.
Fred and George gave the girl an odd look, obviously not understanding her french. Clara sighed, hating how bad her English was at times. "Pardon." She said.
"From what our dear brother Percy was saying, it doesn't sound like you need much help in casting charms and spells." George said, flipping her textbook around to take a look at what Clara was attempting to read.
"Percy...talks about me?" Clara asked, looking between the two twins. They both grinned at Clara.
"Oh yeah, loads." Fred said, nodding. Clara folded her arms over her chest.
"I cannot believe." She said.
"Believe what you want." Fred said. "But Percy was pretty impressed with your bird-summoning spell you used against him in DADA." Clara couldn't help but laugh.
"That was good, oui?" She said, and the twins nodded. "You should have seen his face." Clara added, laughing harder. "It was fun."
Clara made a terrified face, mocking Percy's reactions to her Avis spell. Placing her hands on her cheeks Clara let out a high pitched noise, sending Fred and George into a fit of hysterics.
"Okay, okay." Fred said, wiping away tears that gathered in the corner of his eyes after the laughter died down. "I official love this kid." He said, elbowing George who just chuckled, shaking his head.
"Kid? Non, non. You are the kid, Monsieur." Clara said, pointing a finger in Fred's face. Fred laughed, lowering her pointed finger with his hand.
"Well, Madame." Fred said, smirking at her. "What if we could get someone to help you with your charms. Someone who's in advanced charms as well and even finished at the top of his class last year."
Clara folded her arms over chest. "It is Mademoiselle." Clara said with an amused smile. "I am not married."
"Yet." George said, coughing to cover up what he muttered to Fred who grinned.
Shooting a look in George's direction, Clara turned to Fred. "Who do you have on your mind?" She asked.
"Who do I have--wh-what?" He asked, flustered. Clara bit the inside of her cheek.
"This...person. Who is it you say can help?"
"Oohh." Fred laughed nervously.
"Percy." George said bluntly. "I'm sure he won't have a problem with helping you out. We can ask him for you if you want." He suggested. Clara shook her head quickly, waving her arms out before her.
"Non. Non, not Percy." She said. "He is not...happy of me."
"You're joking, right?" They both said in unison.
"I am not." Clara said, twirling her finger in her hair nervously. "Percy...he does not smile at me." She said, stretching her lips with her fingers to resemble a smile. George and Fred laughed at the girl.
"That's just Percy. It has nothing to do with you." George assured the girl. Clara shrugged her shoulders, closing her Charms textbook and collecting her papers.
"It good...It is good." She corrected herself, rising from where she sat across from the twins. "Do not ask Percy, I can talk to others." She said, giving the two a stern look.
"Comprendre?" She said, raising her eye brows. When they just stared at her blankly, she rolled her eyes with a slight smile. "Understand?" She translated for the two. Reluctantly, Fred and George nodded.
"Com-pon-da-her." They both attempted at repeating.
"YOU DID WHAT?!" Clara flinched where she sat on her bed in her Hufflepuff dorm room at her roommates loud voice.
"Dégage!" Clara hissed, shooting a glare in the direction the girl. "Serious, Michelle, you have to be calmer."
Michelle's dark skin flushed a slight scarlet as she tugged on her thick raven hair. "I'm sorry." She said, biting her bottom lip. "But honestly Clara! His brothers approach you out of nowhere, basically handing Percy to you on a silver platter and you, what? YOU REFUSE?"
Clara glared at the girl again. "I do not need Percy to help with charms." She said, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I don't care if you're a genius on the bloody subject." Michelle said, tugging at her hair again. "If you have the option to have a complete BABE tutor you on the subject, you accept the bleeding offer!"
Niki, who had be silently reading on her bed, scoffed. "A complete babe?" She repeated. "Michelle, you're mad if you consider Percy Weasley a babe."
"Percy Weasley? A babe?" Erika's voice rang out in the stairway. The blonde walked into where the other three were sitting on their beds, a green face-cream plastered on her face. "Hardly." She snorted.
"Excuse!" Clara said loudly, stopping the girls from dissing Percy any more. "Do not be so mean to him. Percy is...good."
"Oh." Erika sang, clasping her hands together. "Clara fancies a Weasley!" She clapped excitedly. "Niki she has the Weasley bug!"
Niki looked up from her book, eyeing the blonde. "Says you, Erika." She scoffed. "Oh, look at William." Niki mocked. "He's so terribly dreamy!"
"Hey!" Erika exclaimed, stomping her foot on the ground.
"You do know that no one ever called him William Weasley." Niki said, rolling her eyes.
"Of course I know that! William just sounds so much more--"
"dreamy." Michelle and Niki finished for Erika. The blonde looked as if the two girl had slapped her across the face.
"At least I didn't take a class just to impress Charlie!" Erika spat. Niki sat up in her bed and pointed a finger at Erika.
"Charlie Weasley had nothing to do with me taking Care of Magical Creatures. I liked that class, I still do!" Niki stated. "At least I wasn't a first year fawning over a seventh--"
"Oh hush." Erika huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and glaring at Niki. "At least I take an interest in having a relationship instead of...of...unicorns or whatever it is you study."
"Excuse me if I think chasing guys is a complete waste of time, you--"
"Face it!" Michelle shouted, stopping the two girls from arguing anymore. "You two are both insane--"
"Shut it, George lover!" Erika spat. Michelle gasped.
"I said George Weasley was attractive one time!" Michelle yelled. "Last year! You told me you wouldn't hold that against me!"
"Is there a Weasley for everyone?" Clara joked, interrupting the three.
"YES!" All three of them shouted at her.
