"Where the bloody hell is Clara?" Demanded Michelle. She had pulled the curtains back on Clara's poster bed to reveal cold, unoccupied blankets. Niki rolled off her bed, her hair sticking up in random places as she walked over to where Michelle stood.
"Probably at breakfast." Niki yawned, scratching her belly. "Why are you making such a-a--" Niki yawned widely. "big deal?"
"Why aren't you?" Michelle shot back, frowning. "Clara is never, and I mean ever, out of bed early." Niki just shrugged as she walked away from Michelle.
"Maybe she decided to leave early today?" Niki said. "Merlin Michelle, you act like you've always got to have a leash on Clara. She's a big girl you know!" Niki called as she left the dorm to head towards the shower rooms.
Erika came jogging into the room in a sports bra and baggy shorts from her early morning runs, sweat dripping down her forehead, and a brown towel draped over her shoulders. She winked at Michelle as she wiped the sweat off her face and torso with the towel.
"Why the sour face, Shelly?" Erika asked. Michelle sighed, gesturing to the empty bed next to her.
"Clara's missing." Michelle said. "I know she hasn't gone down to breakfast yet because it's just now seven thirty, and Niki doesn't seem to be concerned." Erika wiggled her eyebrows.
"I don't think she came back at all last night." Erika sang, draping her towel over her shoulder as she pulled her trainers off. Michelle watched as Erika walked over to her bed and threw her trainers underneath it, grabbing for a clean towel and shampoo.
"Well?" Said Michelle impatiently. Erika smirkied.
"Oh, come on Michelle. Put two and two together, you're a smart girl." When Michelle gave Erika a blank stare, she rolled her eyes at her. "Clara stayed the night with Percy, obviously."
"What?" Michelle hissed. "But...but that's against the rules! I'm not even going to mention the fact that they're in two different Houses."
"You just did." Erika laughed.
"Erika! What if they were caught by McGonagal? Percy is Head Boy, he's supposed to be responsible!" Erika just grinned.
"That's what makes it all so much more exciting." Erika sang as she too made her way to the shower rooms before the girls left for breakfast. Michelle sighed, shaking her head.
"Percy and breaking rules...one thing I thought was impossible." Michelle mumbled to herself.
Clara woke up to a sharp click, and opened her eyes to Percy facing a camera towards them.
"Percy!" She giggled reaching for the camera but Percy held it out of her reach, laughing.
"Smile, my love!" Percy exclaimed. Clara obeyed, and Percy turned and kissed her lightly. She kissed him back, laughing against his lips.
"Goodmorning." Percy whispered.
"Bonjour." She replied.
Percy waited for the camera to spit out the film with a purple puff of smoke, and excitedly took it. Slowly, they watched at the picture developed magically. At first, it was just a still picture of Percy smiling widely with Clara sleeping peacefully on his shoulder, then the picture began to move. Clara woke up and they watched as she tried to reach for the camera, both of them laughing, until finally she stayed still and smiled for the picture. The film ended when Percy planted the kiss on her lips.
"I'm going to make a bigger version of this." Percy was saying as he slipped the camera and picture into his bookbag. "And then I can frame it." Clara laughed as she stretched out her arms and legs.
"I did not even know you had a camera." Clara said. Percy rose up from where he sat, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
"My dad bought it for me after our trip to Egypt." Percy explained. "Ever since George got one, I've been saving up for my own, but dad got one for me instead for a birthday present."
"That is nice." Clara yawned, getting to her feet as well. "What time is it?" She asked. Percy yawned as well as he reached into his pocket and grabbed a small, silver pocket watch.
"Nearly six." He said, shoving the watch back into his jean pocket. "I've got to have a shower before breakfast." Clara smirked as she fiddled with the collar on Percy's shirt.
"Six is an early time, I doubt anyone is up yet." She whispered, standing close to Percy. He looked down at her with an eyebrow raised.
"No. Breakfast starts at seven thirty. I've never seen anyone up this early." Clara grinned, wrapping her arms loosely around Percy's neck, giving him a seductive look.
"Well," She said, fingering one of Percy's scarlet curls. "Then it wouldn't be a problem if I joined you in the shower?" She asked innocently.
Almost as soon as she asked it, Percy's face turned a dark shade of red and he began to stutter.
"I-I-I. W-Well. No-no one would s-see. But--" He nervously ran his fingers through his hair.
"Well, if you don't want me to--"
"No." Percy said a little louder than he intended to. Clara smirked, but let out a surprised yelp when Percy suddenly lifted her off her feet. He now wore the same seductive look on his face. "You're coming with me, Mademoiselle." He murmured.
"Percy!" She giggled, trying to keep her voice down. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he carried her up the boy's stairway.
When Clara made it back to her dorm room, she ran into her roommates just leaving for breakfast at around seven forty-five in the morning.
"Bonjour!" She greeted brightly with a wide smile on her face before she ran over to her bed.
"Well, if it isn't Miss Clara Delaunay." Said Erika, smirking as she watched Clara hurriedly rummage through her trunk of clothing for her school uniform.
"Is it true you were with Percy?" Michelle asked. Clara turned to look at her roommates, her cheeks slightly pink.
"Oui." She said, replacing her t-shirt with her white button up blouse and grey sweater vest.
"See? I told you. You had nothing to worry about." Niki said, rolling her eyes. Michelle gave her a look.
"Hold on a minute." Erika said, walking over to where Clara finished pulling on her skirt and slipping on her black shoes. She grabbed a hold of the ends of Clara's hair that was still slightly damp. "Have you already had a shower?" She asked. Clara cursed her thick hair and how long it took for it to air dry.
"Uh, oui." Clara said, not looking her friend in the eye.
"When?" Niki asked. "Erica and I just left the shower room and we didn't see you in there." Clara laughed nervously.
"How do you say this in English..." Clara said, grinning as she scratched the back of her neck. "Funny story?"
"Funny story my arse!" Erika exclaimed. "Did you shower in the Gryffindor shower room?"
"Uh...oui." Clara said, slinging her bookbag over her shoulder. "We going down for breakfast?" She asked, trying to change the subject. Erika squealed with joy, clapping her hands together excitedly.
"YOU HAD A SHOWER WITH PERCY!" She shouted. Clara shushed her, frowning.
"Do you have you yell?" Said Clara, but Erika just squealed again, now jumping up and down.
"Wait a minute. Do I have to have a little chat with Percy?" Asked Niki, crossing her arms over her chest. Clara laughed, shaking her head.
"Non." She grinned. "It was my idea, Percy just agreed."
Erika screamed this time, so overjoyed Clara thought she was going to burst.
"Well of course he agreed." Michelle said, rolling her eyes. "He's a boy. They're full of hormones." Niki snorted.
"Well apparently, so is Clara." She said.
